Near Perfect
This car handles nicely and the drive is very smooth. I have the 3.6L V-6 which is more than enough power for me. The cabin is quiet and there is minimal wind noise on the freeway. Occasionally there is some road noise on very coarse paving. I do mostly city driving and average about 25-26mpg which is quite amazing since the EPA estimates are 19-27mpg. There is an eco mode that turns on by itself which supposedly turns off two cylinders in the engine when they are not needed. The interior cabin of this car is pretty nice, I have the upgraded sound and when I blast my music the car doesn't have rickety/vibrating noises like some other cars. The cabin is quiet and the ride is smooth but if you want a sportier drive, opt for the sport package which includes a stiffer suspension. Otherwise expect your Challenger to feel like a big boaty cruiser. Having only owned imports before this car I was worried about the reliability. The only issue I have had is when I release the gas pedal sometimes between 2nd and 3rd gear the transmission seems to create a stall and a thud. I am not sure what that is. There is a huge blind spot out the passenger side window and pay extra for the back up cam if you can because you cannot see out when reversing. 95% of the time I just back out and pray for the best.

Solid Car
The 2012 Didge Challenger is a good car. It looks good & sounds good. My only issue is the headliner had to be redone twice. There is a factory flaw with the headliner. Also horn is a little wimpy.

Great Styling
I purchased my 2012 challenger almost 2 yrs. ago and have over 47000 miles on it.I have the v-6 and get 22mpg street/26-27 hwy.It handles great and the design of the car is awsome.mine is bright red.I have taken it out west,up north, and central USA.handles great on the hills and has more than enough power for passing.I highly recommend it as you can see by the mileage on it.

Fantastic car
Having come from utility vehicles my whole life this is a beautiful and smooth driving experience. I never thought I'd really get one but many people encouraged me to and I now have a 2012. I love it and can't believe it is in the driveway. The backseat is really the only issue. Adults really cannot fit back there for any extended time. I figured as much prior to buying but still am kind of shocked. Why not just make it a two seater? I love it and am glad I bought it.

mixed feelings
there are basicly two cars here- the rumbling v8 muscle car and the v6. the v6 now has dual exaust but I'm not going to try to make it sound like a v8. plenty of power in my smooth v6 cruiser, good handling, and comfortable. if they put the new 8 speed auto in it it will be an even more plesant driving experience. highway driving is not tiring and the car gets over 30 mpg. the car shows no inclination to roll or squeal the tires on the twisties at any speed I would drive it, but the feel of being in a big car and not a sports car is still there. I miss having 4 doors, but am trying to justify buying this thing based on the look and the large amout of stuff that will fit in the trunk if needed.

This car made me enjoy driving again!
The 2012 Challenger is fast, quiet and comfortable. Yesterday on the way home I realized that I now enjoy driving again since I bought this car. Almost every day I get comments on how cool this car is. I couldn't be more happy with it. On my two hour drives to the beach I am getting over 25 MPG! Not bad for a car with 372 HP!!

LOVE my Challenger
You either really want a Challenger, in which case you will gush love over it like every other review, or you won't even consider a Challenger - there aren't going to be many 'random buyers' who just happened to pick one out. The Challenger makes you feel like a rock star everywhere you go - people stop and want to talk about it, even people who aren't into cars... it's an almost visceral reaction. Accordingly the flaws of the car become irrelevant quirks and not detractions. I regret not buying the Hemi, but the Pentastar V6 has plenty of oomph and it will cruise all day on the highway at a high rate of speed. It moves laterally like its on rails and cuts securely without any wobbles. Looking at it you would think its a low car but that's only because its so long - it's barely shorter than your average car and accordingly it's very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. It's got the amenities one needs, like heated seats, without the unnecessary bells and whistles you see jammed into more and more cars. I think the people who claim 25mpg are fudging because I don't do that well, even on the highway. The C-pillar is so large that one doesn't just have a blind spot, rather you take your life in your hands pulling out of parking spaces - but that's just one of those lovable quirks that comes with driving around being a rock star....

2012 Dodge Challenger SRT
I drove the R/T and the SRT. decided on the SRT because of the Horsepower difference and seats are more comfortable. I'am 62 years old and drove the 60's muscle cars like the GTO, Roadrunners etc but never felt this kind of a "Beast" 6.4 hemi before ever! I even drove the 426 Hemi back in the day but still doesn't compare to this Car. Too bad it is so expensive to own because a lot of people will never get to see a real Power House like my Hemi!
