Muscle car that seats 4 adults.

Very little to complain about and loving this car. I have the R/T model with the 5.7 hemi motor and am looking forward to upgrading soon the the SRT model with the 6.4 hemi. This kind of car new is almost non existant today. Two door car that seats 4 adults comfortably, rwd, and a high output V8. I have no use for a car with fwd, 4 or 6 cylinder engine.

Another Amazing Challenger

The car is absolutely amazing. It had a few electrical problems thanks to the dealership, but now is completely wonderful! Had a 2013, and so glad I?m back in the Mopar club!

Don't get get a 5.7

I really liked the old school looks, rides great, looks great, but the 5.7 has issues, I traded at 48k miles. I had 2 pulleys replaced, over heating issues from time to time, a recall on the alternater. A.C. pulley acting up from time to time. Developed a ticking noise aka hemi tick. Body panels soft and gradually getting off line.

We tried several sports type cars, Challenger fit.

My wife needed another car as our old 2003 Taurus is rusting out badly. The mechanical reliability is still there, but, I expect it to just break in half one day. I hate to car shop, but, it was time. We test drove a few Camaros with the LT package, a few Mustangs (I'm a dyed in the wool Ford person) and a few Dodges including the Charger as well as the Challenger. My wife has a bad back and needed one with a seat that would fit her well and wanted a car that she would be able to drive without it hurting her back after some distance and time. The interior of the Challenger is the best for roominess and the seat fit my wife the best. At least the driver seat does with it's adjustable features. We tried the 400hp+ V8 models and they had beefed up suspension that made the ride much harder than the 300hp+ V6 model. The V6 had plenty of what I call "zip" rather than power that pushes you back into the seat when you step on the gas. It goes and goes well, but, doesn't have the eyeball peeling power of the SRT or Hellcat. It simply rides softer and feels better for a touring car than the muscle machines. I have had the car checked out by my buddy the mechanic and I checked out the bottom of the car while he had it up on the rack. We won't have to worry much about rust on this car because most of the bottom side of the car seemed to have plastic covers. We'll just see how time treats the vehicle and my wife will have to be careful this winter getting used to the rear wheel drive after thirteen years of trusty front wheel drive driving.

Just an overall fine vehicle

Quite honestly it was the most satisfying car in every way. I would also add that the look of the vehicle had a style that was quite catching and memorable.

I'm In Love

In my opinion, the Challenger is one of the meanest and sexiest cars on the road. Not only is its look captivating, it's intimidating. Plus for the price the performance is phenomenal.
