Very Valuable Car for the Price

I just bought a 2013 Dodge Journey SXT- My previous car was in an accident and totaled, so I wasn't planning on buying a new car anytime soon. I needed AWD and third row seating. I love the way this car handles and drives. My last car was a Suzuki xl-7 which always felt a bit long. I drove a Chevy Traverse, Mazda Cx-9, Nissan Pathfinder,Kia Sorento and I felt the Journey was the most comfortable to me and defiantely the most affordable. I love all the options it came with, its enough car without being too much. The price point is of great value I believe also. We are a family of four so do not need the third row all the time, its mainly for additional friends or family when needed. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone wanting a family SUV at a great price!

Top Value

We needed a car that was not to big, but big enough to carry two large dogs, powerful enough to drive to the mountains fully loaded, and AWD for the snow. We found it in the Journey. It's a lot of car for the money with great highway mileage even with the larger 3.6L engine on our last trip. Reliability we'll see in time.

Good SUV

I bought this vehicle last month. I drove it off the lot with 18 miles on it. At first, it wasn't getting the gas mileage that is said it would on the sticker, but after 1200 miles on it and a road trip to California, its getting close. I did the math and it was at 24.5 mpg, not 26 like it said, but good enough. And that was driving 80mph through the Arizona desert, with 4 adults and 2 kids in it, and luggage! The car handles great, was comfy with 4 adults and 2 kids riding it in for 6 hours. I would totally recommend the car. Very nice car.

Awesome Car!

We traded in my 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander because we realized we needed the extra third row. We looked at a couple and settled on the 2013 Dodge Journey. I LOVE this car! We got the SXT version. I miss some of the basic features that my Outlander had that this car doesn't like my automatic windshield wipers, back up camera, adjustable headlights, and one touch front windows up and down. Some of these features are not even available for this car. It's crazy that what is STANDARD on the Outlander was not even an upgraded feature on the Journey. We would have gone with the larger Outlander but found that they don't hold their value as well as the Dodge does which made us finally decide on the Journey. I do LOVE this car. It's VERY comfortable and feels VERY sturdy! Overall great buy.

2013 Journey Excellent Choice

We just purchased a 2013 Dodge Journey SXT last week and absolutely LOVE IT. Initially we were going for a Chevy Equinox and had also test drove a Chevy Traverse. So glad that we ended up test driving the Journey because hands down the Journey beats the Equinox in every category (comfort, pricing, style, third bench seat, etc.) The only thing our Journey did not have that the Equinox did was a rear camera. However, that didn't matter to me after driving it and seeing all that it did have and how it felt behind the wheel. So happy with our Journey and I know you would be too if you tried it out.

Very happy with this purchase. For the price you get many more features than comparable models. Rides smooth and is quiet.

Just what I was looking for

I did research beyond belief for atleast a year before making a decision on a car to buy. I went back and forth from SUVs to cars, and this is definitely the best of both worlds! Roomy enough to handle vacations and shopping trips but without the feeling of driving something huge. Also Love the extra storage areas! Great family vehicle!

TOP PICK

I've been in the car business for 9 years. Everything from selling, detailing, body shop, servicing, I know about all cars. And this was my choice for my wife & I. We have used our 3rd row seat, & it's handy. Love having rear A/C. The 4 cylinder has almost as much power as the V6. I recommend Mobil 1 5W-20. For the money, you will not get a better deal! If you need room for anywhere between 5-7, as long as 2 of ur passengers aren't too tall, this vehicle is it! LOOK NO FURTHER! If you buy a Toyota, I feel very sorry for you!

Sporty SUV

Bought 2013 Dodge Journey SXT V6 model. So far so good. Like the power. We only needed two rows of seats so can't review anything about 3rd row. Front wheel drive and traction control is even better on gas mileage. Very comfortable with lots of leg room. Also handles very well. Can't wait to take it on vacationin one month. Best SUV for the price. And I looked around and tried them all.
