Writing this review to shed light on the problems I’ve

Writing this review to shed light on the problems I’ve experienced with this car as I couldn’t find any negative reviews prior to purchasing mine. I was the second owner of this car with 80,000 miles on it, no accidents, and clean title. First the harmonic balancer snapped off, then weird codes would pop up and the car would shut off while driving. It would also lost power sometimes when at higher elevations and not shift properly. The PCM had to be replaced but it was on back order for months, then the radiator broke and the transmission broke.

Explorer = reliable

I`ve owned several explorers through the years and put countless trouble free miles on them. The v8 equiped versions are my favorite makes merging into traffic a breeze. I found this one with only 77k miles on it and couldn`t pass it up.

Needed a used truck and chose the 07 Explorer XLT

I had a small economy car, which lacked guts, felt unsafe with all the larger vehicles on the road and provided me 0 storage for camping and fishing. I decided to purchase an SUV and I chose the 07 Explorer XLT with 79k miles. The exterior has held up for a 13 year old truck. There isn't any rust on it. The styling is par for an SUV of its era. The interior is set up well with everything easy to find and operate. The leather seats are comfortable. The cabin is insulated well as you do not hear much road noise or wind. With the 3rd row down, there is plenty of room to load up for a weekend getaway. Mechanically, the truck could use a little more giddy up with the 4.6L. But, the engine runs smoothly and the 6 speed transmission functions well. The 1-2 shift can be felt, but it isn't horrible. The gas mileage is logging in at about 16 MPG everyday and the low 20's on the highway if you stay around 65-70 mph. I haven't noticed any leaks or noises, which leads me to believe the truck was built well. Overall, I'm very happy with my recent purchase and I'd recommend it to you.

Good quality vehicle

This car is a good fit for my wife. After owning a minivan she deciced to get an SUV to replace it. This Explorer is just the right size for her needs.

I LOVE FORD TRUCKS

I love it! It was a replacement for a 1997 Ford Expedition with the same look .. got some definite upgrades. Perfect spacing for our family of 4 plus trunk space. Love the 3rd row and the fact that it folds completely down (the expedition didn't do that) .. the sunroof was an added bonus for sure. gets great mileage and is very durable
