Great 4x4

Love the truck! Hate the dealer based on multiple terrible service experiences. Great ride, comfortable, excellent on sand. Sizeable, spacious.

Favorite Vehicle I?ve Ever Owned

I was a little worried about buying a high mileage vehicle (120,000 miles). We just went from a 2013 Town and Country van with only 50,000 miles to this. It?s amazing how much more smooth this vehicle handles, how quiet it is, how seamless the transmission shifts, and how comfortable and stylish it is. You can?t tell it has high mileage based on how it drives. Drives like a brand new vehicle. I love our upgraded wheels and the charcoal color. It?s a sharp looking SUV. Love the third row for when my kids are fighting and all of the storage space when it?s down. Very impressed so far.

Comfort with plenty of space & style

This explorer limited is completely loaded with everything you could imagine. The gas mileage surprised me for being such a good sized SUV ..it's great. Very comfortable and smooth riding.

Thought I would get more for my money.

Basically an ok car but was stricken by a few recalls and a few bugs with the MYSYNC. Now that its out of warranty, more issues have come up that I have had to deal with. I think even with the warranty, Ford would have found a way to weasel their way out of fixing. My sentiments are no different than many Explorer owners.

Good mid-sized crossover.

Great for 4 people, maybe 5. Otherwise a larger vehicle is needed. It is definitely an American engineered vehicle with some foreign luxuries. Great for an all-around family vehicle.

My primary vehicle

I love my explorer. I like the way it rides and the looks of it as well as the roominess inside. I would recommend an Explorer for anyone looking for a good, dependable SUV.

Excellent All-Around Vehicle

I've been really happy with my Explorer overall. It gets decent gas mileage at about 21MPG, towed a 30ft camper well, seats my family of 6 comfortably and has been extremely reliable. We've put about 40k miles on it since we bought it 2 years ago and no problems at all. It's was a little pricey used, which seems to be a trend for these, so I rated it as such. I think you get a great vehicle for the price, but overall the prices seem inflated due to the "name/brand". Highly recommend.
