Most reliable car I have owned

Meets all needs. Good on gas. Mechanically sound and reliable. The perfect family vehicle. I own one now and want to buy a new Explorer so I’m selling my ‘16 one. Great price, call to take advantage of this opportunity. It is listed here on cars.com for $16,500.00

I love my Explorer-

I love my explorer. The reason I am looking for another one is the this one has been in and out of the shop since the first part of November only because the Ford garage couldn't find the problem. I kept hearing a clunk in the vehicle turning in first they said it was the sway bars and they replace that since I got out of the lot it continued making the noise question, took it back and then it was the welds didn't match up right, still not fixed. I had to take it back again and they said there was a loose bolt. Well of course once again it has been back to the shop this time they said it was a noise and the front grill that usually core exercise is found in the trucks not the explorers.the garage that I got it from said they would work with me if I wanted to trade it in for another vehicle. They've done an appraisal on my vehicle and come back with $12,000. And of course I was very upset and told them but I would look elsewhere for a vehicle. And yes I do have bad credit I was behind on some credit cards but they are all caught up now and I have my explorer payments caught up until July but I will still be making the monthly to stay ahead.

awesome in some areas but poor in other.

My family had very simple requirements. 4WD/AWD, Captain seats, and not minivan. we love the design and dimensions. the front seats are a little short for your legs, but nothing too bad. the driving is great. our 2.3L ecoboost engine has plenty of power (for family hauling, and Homedepot runs) The transmission is poor. it shifts WAY to hard. i have found that if i put it in sport mode if shift way smoother. The Sync2 is slow and laggy and can only be updated to Sync3 by a third party.

2016 Ford Utility Interceptor is very strong

The 2016 Ford Utility Interceptor is pretty strong. The interior is above average with police stuff but overall an excellent vehicle for the money. like the ride but it too plain Jain, since I am using it for commuting I can live with it.

Enjoying the experience of owning an Explorer

This is a nice upgrade from a minivan. Still plenty of leg room in 3rd row. Definitely smaller than minivan. Our children are growing up and leaving the nest so was looking to downsize slightly. This Explorer fits the bill perfectly!

Everything I ever wanted and more

I didn’t even know a car could massage you while you drove. It parks it self. Auto lights high beams wipers and so much more I still have not found all the options on this limited.

Ford Explorer a wonderful comfortable car!

I really do like my Ford Explorer. It is very comfortable, drives great and looks wonderful. I am very happy with my purchase and the dealer, Gordie Boucher Ford of Thiensville, I purchased it from.
