F-150 - what you expect in a truck

24000 miles Crew cab 4x4 - for me, the perfect match between comfort, styling, and utility. Truck has a soft bed cover that allows me to expose as much of the bed as I need. Easy to retract and close.

High Tech

Great vehicle. I was not used to not having a printed owner’s manual. But, with continued and diligent use of the onboard screen and its videos and owner’s manual has answered all questions and issues. Love this pickup.

Terrible Transmission

Decent truck except for the transmission. It' terrible and Ford refuses to do anything about it. Stay away unless you like clunking and harsh shifting.

Ford is no help

Android auto keeps going in and out and the transmission jerks so bad it is dangerous. I have contacted Ford and took it to a dealership and they said that is normal but there is a lawsuit out on this very problem. No help. So sad.

The power, of the smallest engine, the 2.7 V6, Twin Turbo, is excellent. My average gas mileage is near 22 mpg. I am using Sheetz 88 Octane fuel. The 2021 F 150, XL/STX, Super Cab, FX4, has been a decent truck so far! I had some issues with the optional POWER GENERATOR,..and apparently, it's now fixed!? I may get a truck camper put on the bed!? However, it can be either a good hauler, or towing vehicle! My unit has the optional towing package.

Excellent Truck!

I bought a new Ford F-150, back in December, 2021. It handles, and performs, flawlessly! It’s the Supercab, 4X4, 2.7 V6, model! It averages 22 mpg. Good buy!

Fantastic Truck

Fantastic Truck. I’m getting 23 miles per gallon in every day driving and the power of the 3.5 liter Powerboost engine is quite impressive. The comfort and versatility are exceptional. We use it off road going to our Cabin in West Virginia and that cannot be reached by 2 wheel drive vehicles. I am very happy with this great truck. This is my 4th Ford truck and by far the best.

I’m not happy

I own the 2021 F150 lariat sport with every bell and whistle ,,3000 miles only as of this post .. luxury , yes .my problem is the 10 speed electronic transition/ drive train . This thing shakes at speeds above 55 and seems to sputter at times. The dealer has told me this is the computer learning my driving patterns.. I find it hard to believe the truck will drive differently for me vs anyone else behind the wheel if so.. DONT buy it.. I still have my 2013 lariat and love it .. this new one sucks mechanically.

Where is my Blue Cruise For my 2021 Ford F-150

where is my Blue Cruise My Ford Lariat is capable of having Blue Cruise but have not received down load for it Do I have to pay more for it?

Poor Hybrid Fuel Milage

I have a 2021 F150 XLT Hybrid. I have yet to get 24 MPG, gets mostly around 18 MPG. On one 300 mile trip I was getting around 18 MPG, then when I hit a stretch about 50 miles mostly down hill it creeped up to 20 MPG. On the ford forum a lot of F150 Hybrid owners complain about not getting 24 MPG. For $61,000, it has no automatic 4 WD. No garage door opener and no paper owners manual. I bought a paper owners manual and it is terrible. I had to shut off my automatic door unlock because it was too close to my house back exit door when I walked out.Kept on unlocking and locking the door. I thought maybe it would wear the battery down. But the parking lights kept clicking on when I walked by. Had a hard time figuring out what controlled shutting them off. Can"t figure out what shows the combined milage for both Elect and gas.The settings don"t explain enough about the computer controls. The only thing I will say is the engine is powerful. Don't like the Pirelli Scorpion tires. They don"t seem like a good tire for driving on snow and ice in NEPA. By accepting the privacy terms and conditions you allow the app to keep track of you. Plus unlike GM they won't allow you the points for buying the F150, which I think is equivalent to$200. They also have access remotely to you truck.
