  • VERY DEPENDABLE AND CHEAP TO KEEP

This is actually for the 2001 Taurus I just sold and bought a low mileage 2007 to replace it. I am Taurus-addicted as they are great cars for anywhere near the money. They are mechanically identical with the '01 needing much brake work and a new compressor but the power train is bulletproof. Great cars for the bucks spent.

  • If you enjoy the simple things in life!

I purchased my 07 with 245,000 miles on it, I was skeptical about much longer it would last, but the price was right. That was 4yrs ago, now at 320,000 it still rides wonderful, is surprisingly fast, and gets 29mpg average. The only major repairs I've had was struts, and head gaskets. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys the simple things in life!

  • Runs perfect so far only downside is the underneat

Like i said it has always started and ran mechanically perfect. The downfall is the whole underside of this vehicle is totally rusted out. It has 109,000 miles on it, this doesnt add up. My feet are going to be doing the flinstones through floorboards anyday.

  • All around great car for the money.

Bought this used at 111,200 miles from an old man that took incredible care of it. The thing seriously looks like it just rolled off the lot. Spacious car, I definitely feel safe in it (for a 2007, obviously newer cars have more safety features) has pretty good mileage, comfortable and again just an all around great car if you can find one in decent condition.

  • Most comfy car I've had.

This is the most comfortable car I've ever had. The rides were very smooth and I couldn't feel the potholes in our towns roads all over.

  • Great trunk space, comfortable drive

This car had it all for its age. Great leg room, great trunk space, stereo, power seating and even a code to get in without a key. Not many cars had that and it was impossible to lock yourself out of the car.

  • Decent Vehicle

I own two 2007 Taurus. One SEL and one SE. Both have rusted through the passenger side floor board. Both have been very dependable and decent fuel mileage and relative comfort considering the size. Based on the rust factor I would not purchase another and would advise anyone looking to purchase one to look under the car at the floorboard from under the car and see if it is rusted. My SE I had to place a 14 inch square piece of plexiglass under the carpet to help keep rain water from splashing through the carpet if I hit a puddle of water.

  • Very reliable!

This is a great work vehicle or a great car for a new young driver. Very little maintenance. Only consistent issues with this model year is the alternator squeaking and needing to be replaced.
