What Is the 2025 Genesis GV60?

The Genesis GV60 is a distinctively styled five-seat electric SUV from Hyundai’s luxury division. All GV60s have a 77-kilowatt-hour battery, and the entry-level Standard trim has a single motor, rear-wheel drive and 225 horsepower. Standard AWD and Advanced trims have a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain that makes 314 hp. The line-topping Performance trim has a more powerful AWD system that makes 429 hp (or 483 hp in 10-second bursts via a driver-activated Boost mode). The GV60 shares its basic electric-vehicle platform with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. Rival luxury-brand EVs include the Audi Q4 e-Tron and Q8 e-Tron, BMW iX, Cadillac Lyriq and Tesla Model Y. For shoppers who desire a more conventional luxury SUV design, Genesis also offers the Electrified GV70, which is an electric version of its gas-powered GV70.
