Jaguar styling-none like it-fun sports car feel
Jaguar X-Type exemplifies the Jaguar look. Very unique style and design. Luxury feel and fun sports car ride. British racing green is the original and most traditional Jaguar color.

Pure luxury (leather) & beauty (wood grain).
The sleek exterior design lets you cruise like the wind on the highway. The interior is a beauty to see . There is something to be said about the smell of leather. I bought the car used and it is so well kept, I feel like it is a new car. The ride is smooth and I am impressed. Only downside is the phone button on steering wheel and dash that is not usable for the times now (bluetooth compatible). This car is the perfect example of , if you take good care of a car, it will continue to show you the awesomeness it was designed for.

Luxury car for cheap, but you'll pay for it later.
I thought I had gotten a steal when I purchased this vehicle for 9000 in 2009 with only 60k miles on it. It was fully loaded and an automatic. Wow! A Jaguar for that price was a steal. I couldn't even get a Maxima for that price. I now see why it was so cheap. Within a year the interior roof lining was coming down. And it wasn't a simple fix. At least according to the dealership. The electric went out in the car, that wasn't that costly to fix as I went to an aftermarket place for the part. The water pump blew. That was expensive to fix as only the dealership was selling it at the time. The heated seats were more of a novelty item than something you could rely on. The navigation was nice but they wanted over $200 at that time to update the maps. Couldn't hookup my iPhone without paying over $500 for the part. There were good things about the vehicle though. Having an AWD was a blessing!! The car ran smoothly, picking up speed as needed. Although gas was $4 a gallon for premium, it made you drive sensibly to try & get the best gas mileage. 22-24. Although I used to the 5matic on it to accomplish that & did a lot of hwy driving. Almost forgot spent 1000s on tire rods, brakes & tires. Only hit a curb. Tires was low profiles though, so I bent the rim. Brakes were expensive for no reason. So was the tire rod and couldn't find aftermarket parts for those either.

Very nice car for what I paid.
Found this vehicle on cars.com here in Philly. Every thing about the car is great so far. I have owned it for 2 yrs. and purchased with 110,000 miles. The fuel pump was replaced by the previous owner thank goodness...I saw the bill. The ride can be a bit bumpy. Thought the shocks needed replaced but were fine. The awd is nice but after purchasing found out that it doesn't engage till you hit 15 to 20 mph. When first accelerating the rear tires will spin with no engagement of the awd system so I would suggest snow tires be put on. Oh...I did spend the money for the falling down roof liner $500. Only did this because the car was very inexpensive. A friend liked mine so much he bought an S Type. Can you say mechanical nightmare? Would say stay away from that!!!!!!

great car
i have had this car for 6 months now. and i am nothing but pleased. i am the second owner and it only had 36k miles on it. it runs great and is very smooth. put new tires on it and it went just fine in the snow. i do about 90% highway driving and only get 24 mpg at the most so it's less then advertised, but everything else about the car is fantastic. i get so many compliments about the looks.

Yeah, that's my Jag
My old car screamed, "I'm a soccer mom!" Yet I am a dad. It had to go. The kids were ready for it to go, so I started shopping on Cars.com. I found my Jaguar X-Type in Irving, Texas. The car was just what I wanted and the price was right. I saw the car from every angle possible, before I even sat in it, because of all the pictures posted. I made a weekend trip from Kansas down to Texas to complete the purchase, then drove it home. I absolutely love MY Jaguar and am actually looking forward to when I am ready to buy my daughter's first car, because I'll know where to start my search!
