Its been an amazing car. I hate to get rid of it.

Amazing car I hate to get of rid of. Familt wants to start over with a new one. The motor is good. Body is good has one smalll area needing fixed. The real problem is it needs a part for the transmission. It will not pull in gear.

Strong, solid

I used to drive Toyota Camry to work before but switched to Jeep Compass because this car has 4 wheel drive and fog lights which meeting the demanding for driving on snowy days and getting up early to work. It has met all my needs. Strong, solid and reliable. Very comfortable. The interior design is nice, especially the cup holders which is big enough to hold big mugs. Exterior styling looks cool too. I like my golden/ tan color in the car. I purchased the car brand new in early 2008 and have put on 155000 miles on the car. Moreover, I've had great experiences at the service department. Overall very satisfied with the car and will recommend it to others.

Fun Ride - Underrated

Used for a long commute +/- 70 miles round trip. Had Rallye trim with 5 speed manual transmission. Had for 10+ years. Two big issues: a 'piston/cylinder' in the clutch mechanism failed - not the clutch itself, but whole clutch had to be replaced. Power module failed and destroyed batteries until that could be diagnosed (dealer may have been able to find the problem earlier). Both occurred at the 7-8 year mark. Lost all but high fan speed. Other than these vehicle was a solid fun ride.
