2007 Jeep Compass Limited 2wd

I've had this car almost a month now. It gets better gas mileage than my previous car. Where I was filling the tank up every week...this one I can go two weeks and barely get to empty. I like all the features...especially the aux input and flashlight in the trunk. I like how the trunk is plastic and not carpet so it's easier to clean. I've only had two problems so far, but it's a used car so it's to be expected. When it's hot outside sometimes my car will crank but will take longer to get starter...not sure why but doesn't happen often and starts right up after. It fits my family's need and looks stylish. I've gotten many compliments.

Jeep Compass - reliable 4WD commuter

3 years of winter driving in Maine, coast and country, and this gets me where I need to go when I need to get there. Not an elegant interior, kind of flat and panel-ish, but when you pick up a cloth to wipe it down that will be very much appreciated. Pop it in 4 to climb hills like its big brother; pop off the ESC and give it the chance to dig itself on when it needs to and let it spin one while the other side digs in and out she goes.

First time in a jeep

So far I love this car. It's roomy enough, but not big like my last car. The seats are easy to fold down, and I love the added feature that the passenger seat can fold all the way forward as well. The control panel telling me my mileage, tire pressure, controls on the steering wheel for the radio is a plus. I'm enjoying all the features, and the car runs smoothly.

07 Jeep Compass

We picked up a 07 limited sport with 80k now going on 120k constantly using oil to the point the catalytic converter plugs up. Dealership can't find a problem! Gas mileage was worse then what it's rated for. Very underpowered for what it is.

Love my Jeep Compas

I have been taking my car to be serviced with Jeep Chrysler since I have owned it. The guys are pretty awesome and I feel right at home. My car is running good as new since a repair was made. I can feel secure with my repairs.....and that makes me a happy customer.

Excellent Metro Mini SUV

I cam across my Compass in a swap out with a customer as I was looking for a versatile shop vehicle and they were looking for a sports car. I researched the Compass in depth and have to say I am more than pleased with it. As far as breakdowns go, all vehicles breakdown, but parts needed are very affordable for this vehicle compared to the many I repair everyday. ASE Master Mechanic says, "buy the vehicle that suits your needs and you won't be disappointed".

Would never buy another one.

Got a 2007 Jeep compass. Loved it the first couple of years. Then the dash lights came on, and off and on again and again. Never found out what the real problem was. They are off now. Brakes, tierod, bearings you name it. Well now with all that noise underneath I find out the two cradles are totally rusted. Oh yes they will pay for the cradles and 6 hours labour, if I get a list of work done in advance to the tune of 4200.00 To get an outside garage to do the work they will all tell you it could be a 10 hr. job or more, They won't pay the extra hours to do the work. I have to get the cradles done and then I will not be buying a dodge ever again, especially a Jeep. All I've been hearing from everone I ask is they are a very poorly made rig.

Just paid it off, now it needs struts and brakes

Overall it's an average vehicle. Good suburban gas mileage, but for me it feels small - I'm 6'1" and it feels too short for me, especially when putting my 3 year old in it. Not great in snow like my Wrangler was. I just paid off the Compass and now I have to replace the struts - $750.

Disapointed

My 2007 Jeep compass seem like a good are when I bought it. Here's the thing, in the last 6 years that I had it there was a recall on the brakes. Witch were fixed but lately seems there maybe a problem, the dealer says there fine. Tie rod problems, Acceleration problems and now for the 3rd time problems with the power steering. Hmm not liking this Jeep right now. Costing me an arm and a leg and the problems happen again. Good gas mileage but now it isn't reliable for long trips. for the price I paid I expect more. This was the first new car I ever bought. I am very disappointed.
