Lemon

I bought the 4 dr unlimited hardtop. Since October it has been in the shop a third of the time that I owned it. The roof leaks, like a waterfall!!!!! It was in the shop for two weeks on this problem and it still leaks. The electrical leaves alot to be desired. When you are driving it will just shut down for 25 to 30 seconds and then it will turn back on. The dealer tried to fix it......but made it worse. It is a great design idea, the 4 doors were awesome, as well the cargo handling. Please wait until they fix the bugs before buying. When I contacted Jeep/ DC, they said i would have to live with the problems! Beware.

Finally... not scared of the snow!

Awsome vehicle. This is my first 4x4. Man, you can go anywhere in this thing. Snow storm... what snow storm?? It is a go anywhere vehicle (even if anywhere is the office) with a lot of the comforts I might have missed (Sahara model- power window, locks, air, cruise, CD, 7 speakers...)

It's a Jeep, stupid

You don't shop for a Wrangler because it's quiet. You don't drive Wrangler to work because of the optimal cup holder to cell phone holster angle. You drive it because it's a Jeep. It isn't designed to attract chicks, or save you from your own poor driving habits or inattentiveness. It is an offroad capable vehicle with four seats, a lot of power to weight ratio and the kind of ground clearance to let you drive over various obstacles. I love my Jeep, but I don't know why people keep brining up all of the Wrangler's various scores on various surveys that are given to drivers of minivan's (xxxxx boxes) and sedans (moving lounge chairs). See, Wranglers are a different animal, serving a different animal. They aren't like the other kids. They don't mind them being around, but don't profit from comparison. Don't be confused. Shop for what you want, don't compare it to what it isn't. PS I clicked on all of the buttons in your survey, even though many of them don't mean the same thing on this vehicle as they do on others. You can't compare a Cheese Burger to Falafel. There isn't enough common ground.

Great Car

With the redesign, Jeep has created another classic. Not so great for you car types, but awesome for us jeep/truck types! Rubicon is the only way to go...

Fun to drive.

I dont think the first two people know what they are talking about. This is my third jeep, and the best in my opinion. We have had quite a bit of rain and my top does not leak, and hasn't in any of my jeeps. If you are considering a automatic dont buy a wrangler. Wranglers are ment to be manual transmissions. The ride is much smoother then the 03 I traded in, and road noise is way down. I recommend the 7 speaker/6 disc changer it is awsome. The new wrangler is still as fun to drive as the old one, and is just as capable on the trails.

disappointing

the comfort and features of the new model are poor at best. The transmission sticks and even with the roof securely fastened, rain seeps through. the colors offered are poor and the wrangler is no longer the money value it once was. consider a toyota fj cruiser instead!
