I will always be a Jeep Chick!!!

Awesome looking! 4X4, Convertible, Unique looking, recalls fixed, retains value!! I had mixed feelings before but, the dealer has fixed recalls and it drives better than when I bought it!! (stupid recalls.) And I love its look and ruggedness. The seat could use a lower back, or lumbar support. I also think it would be great if they could lower the seat more than the 2". I will always be a Jeep Chick!!!

it's a JEEP, the last of its breed

great vehicle! I got a basic 2dr X w/soft top. Handles ON ROAD much better than previous models, took it as far as the speedometer goes (~100mph) and it was doing just fine, a lot of wind noise though. OFF road is simply awesome! it has a standard tracrion control system that will apply break to a spinning wheel sending more power to the other wheel, which is pretty much like a locking differential without spending 30+k$ on the Unlimited version. Love my jeep!!!

Built for the Beach

4 Doors means no one has an excuse now. All the room of an H3, but with V6 power. Doors off, top down. Jeep just grew up. Wider, Longer. This isn't just the college kids car anymore. The new Jeep with its wider and lnger wheel base is roomier and handles more like a car then a Jeep. Even still it will climb 60 degree hills and blast the sand dunes much like its grandfather could.

its a jeep ok

i have had my jeep about 6 months and 5k miles. i have yet to take it off road. on the road the ride is very smooth. i like the ride compared to other choppy jeeps. riding with the top down you just can't beat it. the soft top is fairly easy to take down put up. haven't had the doors off it seems a little more complicated but hopefully won't be too bad. only a couple of flaws: the sound bar is located too low the rear passengers bumb their heads too easily.

Prevents buffeting. HA!!

I bought a new 2 door soft top with 1/2 doors. Of course I had to order this since the dealership didn't have any in stock. I'm now on the 3rd top. I first took it in because the driver?s side curtain didn't seal. That was replaced but it was still too long. So the dealership ordered a new top. After that top was installed it buffeted (loudly) like a mad man. The dealership has not been able to fix this. Their response has been "Well, it is a soft top." My older (1998) Wrangler didn't do this so why should a newer version that advertises that the new 3 ply top prevents buffeting do it? The top is too loose. They had a Jeep engineer look at the top and he just said to order a new one. That one does the same thing. They've now had a Dealer Rep look at his but his response was "Well, I'll have to find another one like it to see how it drives." And the driver's door leaks air around the handle/lock but the dealership can't fix it. They say "They don't have another model like mine to compare it to, so, can't fix the problem." I really wish I still had my 98!

My third wrangler and most favorite

I have now owner three wranglers a CJ,TJ and now the best I believe the 2007-JK "Jeep King".My Cj I needed 6" lift for 35" tires,My TJ I needed 4" of lift for 35" tires. Now My JK only 3" and now I run 35" tires and love the ride.Going from 3-link to 5-link steering much safer and easier to lift. All around the best ride I have ever enjoyed for a jeep.I recommend that everyone try one out. Please take my advice with all the types of cars and truck, this JK is so much all around fun.I have now owned 32 vehicles and never the same one once untill I found my first jeep,I will never drive any thing again. My last two jeeps have saved my life.Once with black ice,if not for the rollbar I woulndn't be here. The second I was t-boned,take about scary, the jeep also saved my life. Both jeeps were written-off. Very durable and very reliable. Please test drive one.

"It's a Jeep thing"

I just bought my Steel Blue Wrangler Unlimited X 2 weeks ago. I'm glad to say it's still a Jeep. It still has the off road performance that's true to it's 60 years of heritage, with a few refinements like the power windows and door locks, which I didn't really want but with children it's very nice. The seats are comfortable, the stereo is awesome, the interior could use a few more storage places for sunglasses and the such, one of the biggest selling points for me was the fact that it is a 5 passenger vehicle. Another was the fact that they made it about 5 inches WIDER, which is what was lacking in my 02 wrangler. I've read lots of reveiws and people want to compare it to other SUV's but it's not like the others it's a Jeep! If you want an Escalade buy an Escalade. I'll stick with the Wrangler. "It's a Jeep thing"

Jeeps are fun to drive four door SUV

Really liked the way the four door Jeep looks, Not really what I was wanting to buy but it is fun and this summer we will enjoy the removable three piece hard top. Lots of ground clearance with 17 inch tires. Did not see any use at all for a four wheel drive version that we would never use. We ride 4X4 ATVs and tow with a class A motorhome, Gas milage is ok if you drive without putting your foot in it, averages 20 MPG. We averaged 22.3 highway on a 1000 mile trip driving 70 mph. This was figured with math not the mpg readout and it was close to this number 22.5. Heavy rain did not show any signs of leaks in three piece hard top as some do. Its fun but I did not really need it?
