Already has 65 service records in First year! hec

2017 Kia optima 2.4 L 4 cyl brought used at Hertz in Smithtown bad idea. Check engine light on already at 44,464 miles . Intake manifold problem poor gas mileage 19.9 mpg, 65 prior service records in first year, they won't give me the service records they are covering up the problems w this vehicle at both Kia dealer ,corp and Hertz. There were voltage regulator replaced inhibitor switch replaced in Feb 2018 and rear harness lights replaced May 2018 plus 61 other records unavailable to me and Kia dealer doesn't have either, covering up problems w this car don't buy it headaches unreliable motor running bad now. Now check engine light on and off and seat belt jingle goes on for no reason and stays on ,so does passenger airbag lights go on and stay on .. headaches electrical dash problems and brown smoke and intake manifold engine problems, really regret dealing w Hertz liars who won't release my service records and cover up a possible lemon and so does the kia corporate office never do anything don't give any help or information and my car is inder warranty til 60000 miles but you pay each time for inspection and they just fix the problem temporarily and your inconvenienced w no car for weeks each time and have to drive one half hour and pay 136 or 170 each time!! Don't buy Kia or hyundai you see brown smoke coming out of exhaust on new models and have covered up problems they don't tell you about!!!

5th Kia, First Optima

Packed with features, comfortable, stylish. Many features you would pay extra for on other makes. very reliable and great gas mileage. If your looking for good transportation and fun to drive, the Optima is it.

Love my new car!

My previous car was an 03 Hyundai Elantra. It didn't have AC nor did the windows work. My new car is AMAZING!! Drives smooth. Awesome features. Love the body style and the color.

It was the Optima choice for us.

We spent several months deciding on the Optima car for us. We looked at all of the competitors in the segment, and the Optima was far and away the best value. Best to buy a year old model with low mileage and the Kia certified warranty, as depreciation is huge the first year. Ours came with 9600 miles ,the full 10 year, 100K warranty, and 10K off the new price. Make sure the one you select has all the options your want. Comfortable and quiet and pleasant to drive.

Pretty but Uncomfortable

Beautiful car but uncomfortable to drive. I felt like I was leaning downhill. Not much headroom, torque felt forced. Decided to test drive it because its such a beautiful car but immediately knew it was not the car for me. Ended up with a Kia Niro and couldnt be happier!

An inexpensive luxury car

I wanted a quiet car, well appointed, with good fuel mileage, reliable and nice looking. I studied for months before deciding on the Kia and after 10 months I'm not a bit disappointed. I would buy it again
