2004 Lexus ES 330 consumer reviews

I purchased a Lexus ES330 19 years ago. At 168k miles, with regular maintenance and some parts that wore out just this year. (2023), it is still the car I absolutely love. Going to keep driving it til the wheels fall off! (No signs of that happening anytime soon.)

Runs, rides, and looks great. Can't think of a complaint. This car is built to last and the V-6 engine is a nice combo of power and economy.

Car was a fantastic daily driver for 20 mile commute, plus routine trips over 100 miles. You can drive it in snow easily with proper tire chains on it. Very smooth ride, great sound system too.

This car exceeded our expectations, we had more options than Honda's we were looking at, I believe I found my future vehicle when I look for a newer model.

I currently own this car and albeit it’s beautiful, it’s definitely not a gas saver! I commute to work 30 miles back and forth to work Monday-Friday and it guzzles my gas up by Wednesday!

I will buy another Lexus after I pass this one down to my daughter. I love this car. I highly recommend a Lexus, get one.

Plush ride, brisk acceleration, can ride on it all day and never get tired. It cushions and protects you from the road and the traffic, rven from the noise out there. The reliability is ridiculous. I’ve owned four ES330 and keep coming back to it.

I knew when I purchased this 2004 ES 330 as a private sale in 2016 that the previous owners didn't take good care of it. It had been in a few accidents and they had done none of the recommended maintenance schedule AND had delayed necessary repairs recommended by their technician. At 130K miles I had to replace the entire rack and pinion, power steering pump and pressure hose, 2 lower control arms, and spark plugs to the tune of over $3,000. I struggled with the decision to do the repairs but in the end it was worth it! Knock on wood, I still haven't had any issues whatsoever with the engine or transmission, it's run like a dream ever since. I'm optimistic that this 15-year-old daily driver will hold up in function and style for at least the next 5 years, with some love (quality gasoline and full synthetic oil changes go a long way!)

The car is very clean for the age as it has been well maintained with regular oil change and tire rotation. The paint has held up as it was always garaged.
