We are a Lexus family because the cars are graceful and reliable. We will never drive anything else. We have a 2006 Rx 330 with 300,000 miles and it’s still going strong. Never a problem…just the usual-brakes, tires and oil changes, batteries. I drive a 2011 ES 350 sedan that I bought used. 2 years old. Now has 110,000 miles. Still shiny and fresh looking. So nice to have a dependable vehicle. I think my drivers side seat is a little broken down and I am not a heavy person. I use a special cushion for comfort. I realize newer cars have more bells and whistles..but what’s the point of trading a great car for a bigger cup holder? We are older. When we are ready to go down to one car we will trade them both for another Lexus!!!!! Best car on the road! My son has been a top rated auto mechanic for 26 years-not American made-and he concurs. Love our cars!

Disappointed in my Lexus.

My dashboard is melting. I have had to pay to restore my headlights. Paint is fading. I’m not even at 100K miles. Wanted to keep it to 150 but the appearance is embarrassing. I have taken care of this car. It’s likely my last Lexus. Bought it at two years old. Low miles.

This is my 3rd ES

The Lexus ES is one of the most reliable cars ever built. They drive like a dream and of course come with all the bells and whistles. I have owned and still own other luxury vehicles, but continue to circle back to Lexus for the whole package. The latest is a used model for my 80 year old mom. I feel I don’t ever have to worry about problems with this car so it was the obvious choice. I have personally owned two (one used and one new) and my brother and sister have them as well. Just all around great cars.

Great Family car. Replaced a Mini Cooper S Convertible and continue to enjoy it. Thanks to run flat tires the handling is fine. Holds its value and stylish.

Pleasantly surprised

This car handles and performs better than I expected based on reviews and my past experience with Toyota Camry. I had once driven a 2005 Camry and found the steering very numb. I've always preferred cars with tighter steering and some road feedback, like that in BMW. Since owning BMW money pits, I've vowed to never own again. It is 2019 and I was in the market for a used luxury vehicle and have heard about Lexus reliability and their well known comfort. I expected at least that. After test driving the 2011 ES 350 I found it indeed was comfortable, but with light steering. I was surprised I liked the steering. Although light, it had appropriate feedback and response and didn't feel numb...just smooth. The acceleration is also very good, and took me by surprise one day when I was passing someone on a two lane road. This car also corners very well, which I too wasn't expecting. This is an excellent car and actually fun to drive, not boring. This con about lost horsepower and torque is a laugh. You won't notice. So much worth it for not having to use premium gas. My one con is the info system screen. It is probably normal for 2011, but compared to my 2018 Subaru it is less touch responsive and has tremendous glare. It has that old style matte, acrylic look. Not glossy. It makes the rear view camera difficult to see in most lighting.
