2013 Lexus GX 460 consumer reviews

This is probably going to be the best car I ever own! Highly reliable, easy to drive and fun to go off roading in. This is the Lexus version of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and that should be enough information right there. If you get one of these beast, hold on to it!

My husband purchased the GX460 for family outings. I don’t like driving it at all. It’s like driving a tank and I find it slow and very sluggish out on the highway. The interior is comfortable, luxurious and has many nice features, but that doesn’t make up for the slow response time when you step on the gas. It takes only high test fuel and is a monster gas guzzler. Another bad feature is the enormous and clumsy back side opening door. For the price, it should have an automatic opening and closing hatchback. I don’t think we will keep it much longer as it costs so much to fill it up. My car is a loaded Prius plug in hybrid and I absolutely love it. We’re thinking about trading it for either another Prius or maybe a Tesla.

The GX 460 is just that, a family car. The level of comfort is excellent, its manly futures are not those of a mini-van or station wagon, but a commuting vehicle the husband or wife look forward driving anywhere; its off-road capabilities are outstanding. With it's 4X4 capabilities can carry passengers to back road, picknick, and camping sights excellently. The 4.6Ltr wasn't meant to sink passengers into its sitting. But to get driver and crew to their destination with trailer if needed, in style, confront, and most important Safely. Remember it is a Toyota.

Very luxurious, very easy to drive and use, insane off-road performance. This thing has it all. Every bell and whistle. Air conditioned seats. DVDs in the headrests. Auto fold seats. Surround sound. Just completely loaded and the smoothest SUV I've ever driven.

I purchased a 2013 model and haven't regretted a minute of my decision. It handles very well for long trips, looks like luxury but able to handle off-road terrain and overall a great car!

I love this vehicle. I live in Alaska so having a safe, reliable vehicle that has enough power to get you out of an unexpected off-road experience or to avoid an icy turn of events is critical. It has excellent traction control, it's powerful enough to respond quickly even at high speeds, it seats my whole family and our dog comfortably, and it looks pretty sexy too!

This was a great year for this model! There isn?t a big difference between the 13 and 14 and I was able to get the premium of my year for the same price as the 14 base. Love love love my car!

It?s not too big, not hard to park like big SUV?s and always drives exceptionally in rain, snow, sand, around town and on the freeway.
