IS300: Powerful, great around corners.

Perfect balance. Plenty of power. Very reliable-bullet proof. The S2000 from Honda is the only car I've driven that's more fun than this. Drives brand new even with 170k miles.

Best car ever

This car is the best car I have ever owned. From style, to reliablity. Everything about this car is perfect. One of the best engines they have ever made, I love the trunk brake lights, the design of the car, 4 door, compact, it?s fast, I love this car.

The Original IS

I love the styling of this car inside and out. The chronograph speedometer is a great touch in the car. The only thing I wish I had were the microfiber sports seats so I don't slide around. The engine is very peppy once warmed. It's no ISF, but it has plenty power when needed; it honestly feels like more than 215hp. Gas mileage sucks, but it's not enough to make me dislike this car. I searched long and hard, and finally found one used in great condition which I plan to keep for a very long time. All in all, I am a very happy owner and can't think of a better car Lexus has made other than the ISF and LFA.

This car is great on gas. It is very sporty to drive esp. with the paddle shifters. It is very comfortable.

Most dependable Fun car to Drive.

My 2002 IS300 has 180k Miles and only thing other than routine maintenance Ive had to do is 1 sensor. Only complaint I have is the suede interior didnt hold up over the years. I would recommend this car to ANYONE!

Sporty daily driver

I have had the car a month now. I was lucky as the previous owner kept it in amazing condition. Excellent stock suspension (double wish bone front), well balanced handling, super smooth inline 6, nice gearing, RWD. Super rare combo of engine, suspension, RWD and manual that I have wanted for a very long time. Just about the right size for daily city commuting. In my opinion, Lexus did a better job of making a 328i than BMW did. Only thing I wish the car had was a limited slip rear diff and slightly better MPG. I could become my back up Autocross car.

Very Very Good

We have a fully optioned 5-speed w/nav and full leather. It was a special order because of the color combo, options, and the 5-speed manual. Waited 3-months for the car and it was worth the wait! Nimble and quick in the city yet great on long road trips. Totally reliable and a kick in the pants to drive. I wish we had memory settings for the seats, mirror, etc. and also could use dual zone climate as well as rear seat side curtain air bags. These were added to later models. The only weakness is the gas mileage. It's not terrible, but it's not that good and requires premium fuel. Overall the car rocks.

My favortie car that I have owned

I have to say I was a bit worried about the size and such but you'll be pleasantly surprised. the back seat is still very roomy for a compact and the front seats hug you very nicely when you have to take the corners hard. the engine is plenty for this little vehicle and the torque will snap your neck from a stop. this car is awful in the snow especially with the standard tires I got some all season bridgestones and they work better but honestly don't expect to get far with more than 2 inches on the ground. Overall this a very fun car to drive and I smile every time i race in and out of traffic. oh did I mention I have 120,000 miles on it and it still runs perfectly... Honestly this is one of the greatest cars ever sold in the US for the money.
