Amazing vehicle

by CarlG from Dudley, NC on Thu Feb 06 2020

Great vehicle! Love the easy entry feature and comfortable seats. The interior features are a cut above our previous vehicle (2018 Land Cruiser). We love it!

Comfort, Luxury and real offroad capability

by Jack from Naperville, IL on Sat Feb 01 2020

The LX570 is large enough to carry all my gear and dog for my gentleman's hunting trips in the fall and also equipment for boating in the summer. But, it still fits comfortably in my garage. It is available with only two rows which significantly adds to the cargo space. It's interior is beautifully crafted, so my wife is happy riding in it too. It has a locking differential which is excellent for those times when the snow is heavy or Im doing something off road... that feature is increasingly difficult to find on luxury SUVs. It has a feature to raise or lower the vehicle which is useful for attaching my boat trailer. My previous vehicle was also a Lexus and gave me 6 years of near flawless performance.

screen safety hazard

by dmkproperties from West Monroe LA on Sat Apr 25 2020

I hate this SUV console is inconvenient mouse is in the way if bumped it will change your screen.. it’s not a tough screen radio difficult to make changes. Control buttons located in a way that you can’t see its function. Screen is a safety hazard due to looking at it & not road. Cup holder blocks all the A/C controls..

Our Take on the 2020 Lexus LX 570

The verdict:

The LX 570 is old-school in good ways and bad ways, with a luxurious interior and real SUV capability, but it needs cabin and technology updates.

Versus the competition:

The LX 570’s off-road chops give it some distinction, but competitors feature better technology and more comfortable second-row seats.

Their modern designs make it easy to overlook the fact that Lexus and parent company Toyota make some of the most old-school vehicles around, including the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser and its luxurious counterpart, the Lexus LX 570.

While most modern SUVs trend toward urban performance with car-based platforms and low-slung profiles, the Lexus LX 570 is a dinosaur from a different era. It has body-on-frame construction, high sides and upright styling that has little regard for aerodynamics, and it drives off-road with aplomb. That’s why it’s hard to find direct competitors for the LX 570 outside of Toyota’s Land Cruiser. The Land Rover Range Rover is one exception; it’s priced... Read More
