2026 Lexus RZ 350e consumer reviews

I'm satisfied with this car - it's very comfortable and economical. I'm tracking my kWhs and comparing the cost to what it would cost to drive the same number of miles with gas at 20MPG. It's a lot less. It's the lower level of the three RZ models, and it's all I need. It has just one motor and front wheel drive. If you live in snow country, you probably should get the RZ450e which has four wheel drive. For where I live - no snow - one motor and front wheel drive is quite sufficient. It's the same as I had with my previous ICE car. While the RZ550e has a lot of HP and can do zero to 60 in a very short time, those things are useless in everyday use. There is one thing to consider and that's how many S/W options the car has (I assume modern ICE cars have as many). It takes some time and study of the owner's manuals to really learn the vehicle and what you can do with it. From an options point of view, it's an iPhone on wheels. The only thing I regret is I didn't get the "package" that gives me digital keys. And Lexus doesn't have "Dog Mode" or self-parking. I wish automobile manufacturers would stop the performance push and advertise how comfortable the car is, and all the many S/W features the car has. It's much less expensive to put S/W features in a car than another motor. The Chinese cars have a lot more S/W features and the car is simpler and lower priced. That attracts a lot more customers than raging HP. Given the choices we have in EVs in the US, this one is a winner. I hope Lexus will, over time, provide S/W updates to give us additional features (Dog Mode being one).

One month in leasing a RZ 350e and it has been comfortable, reliable, QUIET, and above all... economical. Range anxiety of prior years are gradually fading away with a delivered 304 miles. (Without AC). And, (269 miles with full AC) This luxurious dream is not for those who live on "0-60 in - seconds". How many drive 0-60 without being on a track or giving a review? It also isn't for someone who puts 200 miles a day on it and doesn't have a home 240vt charger. Seriously, this is a luxury sport utility vehicle that makes you forget the outside, the noise, the distractions! The best part... It's a Lexus for the price of a Subaru/Toyota (with incentives and money back from Lexus). Oh yes, NO MORE GAS STATION PRICES, FUMES, LINES, OR ATTITUDES!
