2016 Mazda CX-5 consumer reviews

I love the way my Mazda CX-5 handles, especially the steering and cornering. It handles like a sports car! I had an unusual problem with the shiny silver plastic finish/trim on the air/heater vents reflecting onto my side view mirrors obstructing my view, but CJ Wilson couldn't be nicer in trying to remedy this with me. I am hoping that changing out to a black trim around the vent units will solve this problem. The purchase of this car was nice and easy, and the price was good, too. Everyone at this dealership has been very nice, friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

Ride was a little hard at first, but softened out. Great mpg, I think best overall in the class interior layout. Great driving position, roomy second row, and still plenty of trunk space. CX-5 Touring is definitely best value for your money.

Honest this car has been a disaster. I have been to the dealer 16 times since I got the car 8 months ago, and the issues with the trasmission, and navigation system always seem to reoccur, even after they assure me that the issue will not occur. Milage is absolute garbage, unless you drive like a 90 year olds, and it is not comfterable at all. The Radar cruise stops at 15 MPH, and the collision prevention never turns on unless it is for a parking lot gate which it promptly stops at instead of cars and objects in your direction of travel. Only thing I can say is the headlights are the brightest I have ever seen in my life. Engine is unbelieably slow, really needs something with more beans, and a probably a turbo, that would most likley solve the fuel economy issue. Mazda Connect is awful, its touch when stopped and the awful controller when moving, always freezes, nav crashes and doesnt come back once every four weeks ish and then I have to bring it to the dealer to be reapired for that. I cannot stress enough do not buy this car, the New 2017 is no better, it just looks nicer

Nice car with nice built and performance. Sporty driving feel. Spacious seating. Very good audio system.

I have owned a Mazda for 30 years . They have always been reliable , the new one seams to have the same quality!!

Love the "standard features" for less than the competitors add on. Wanted an AWD or 4wd. We'll see when the snow flys again how the AWD does.(I'm more familiar with the "old 4x4!)

Absolutely love the features on the CX-5 touring! Keyless entry, pushbutton start and back up camera are my faves!

had this as a loaner car for a month, love it. even though it has good mileage, it can run like a race car in sports mode, helping navigate houston's crazy traffic. It has tons of room, the view is good and I love the safety features (cross-traffic and blind spot warning)

Love my mazda - the look on the outside is great, the look on the inside as well. All the interior design feels quality made and reliable. The safety features probably saved my life a few times. Would highly recommend
