  • Failed Part at Low Mileage

This does NOT refer to either my dealer's sales or service departments, both of which are excellent. But I have to relate that a life-of-the-car part, the steering control module, failed at only 8,500 miles, and as luck would have it, just after the new car warranty expired. It required two visits and over $1400 to repair. I've not heard anything from Mercedes about even a partial reimbursement- not that I really expect anything.

  • most fun drive ever... lot better than M3/M4...

I was primarily looking for M4, but after test driving C43 it won my heart instantly. Transmission, acceleration, turns, etc. are lot smother but sportier than BMW.... Id highly recommend this car.

  • Love the convertible

The car runs great, has plenty of pep, comfortable seats and and easy access for controls. Has ample interior room. Traded a 300 SLK for it and there is no comparison.

  • Unexpected choice

This car replaced my CLK500 that I drove for 11 years. Did not intend to buy another convertible, but MBZ has built a beauty in this AMG model

  • Great car but has some ridiculous cheap flaws

The goods: - Fantastic piece of engineering, amazing engine and 4 wheel drive - Very comfortable and full of "toys" in its base version - Very good riding and driving sensation The flaws: - How can an almost $60K come with Halogen headlights (the yellow old style headlights you remember from the 1990 Accord)?!?! - They charge extra for the navigation sd-card..... again, it's an almost $60K and it doesn't come with navigation from the factory..... and if you want to buy the sd-card from MB they'll charge you $650 on something you can buy somewhere else for $150 - Trunk is smaller than the competition

  • MB C43 AMG is a winner!

I love this car! This is my 6th C-class and second AMG - for the money, you cannot beat this car - 351 HP, it is very fast - loves to stay between 80-100 - great sound system, very comfortable - love all the creature features...and yet put it in Comfort Mode and it is a great family car, or for me, my every-day use car, and on weekends I throw it in Sport+ and his the roads! I have the 4Matic which is amazing in all weather including snow...

  • Buy yours now!

A luxury sedan with fun under the hood. Even on "comfort" settings, be aware, this is a sport sedan and the ride can be firm, but not jarring. Excellent voice control system with the COMAND option. Easily beats out my old BMW 535 with over 20% more HP and torque plus AWD for less$. A fun enthusiast's car.

  • Best most enjoyable car I have ever owned

Seeing the car in the show room and short test drives never tell the entire story. Once you drive it for a while you can start to understand what you like and dislike. It's been a week and driving this car and its absolutely wonderful. Beautiful comfortable interior, very comfortable seats many adjustments available, the voice control is easy to use and great for hands off computer controls, all 5 performance options are very useful for different places you are driving like city, highway mountains and smooth change on the fly. The extra power on the AMG is really incredible "F1 at my fingertips with the paddle shifters" after a few days I realized how useful the blind spot technology is it becomes second nature and just part of the normal driving safety. I feel I have a combo luxury car, sports car and SUV at my fingertips. Absolutely love it. Too soon to talk about reliability but if it's like the MB I owned before this it should be excellent.
