Love Love Love
I love everything about my mini. It's the S convertible in the color ice blue. It's an automatic, but very peppy and nimble. I love driving it and will be so bummed if I ever have to sell it because I'll never find another one that I love this much. When I see it in a parking lot, it actually makes me weepy because it's so cute and this is after owning it since 2011!

Regret selling this car.
It was comfortable, economic, and drove beautifully. The maintanence was fairly priced and I rarely had any issues.

Fun car for traffic
I like this car so far, for the price and what I use it for (commuting) its definitely a lot better on gas and fun to drive in and out of traffic. It is made by BMW so a little more expensive than anticipated. But there is some power packed in this car, especially in "sport mode".

A very unique car
When I first heard about the Mini Cooper S, I was a little hesitant because I like big power. Once I test drive the car I knew instantly it was the car for me. Anyone who loves to drive will love this car. The amount of performance packed with the gas mileage is unreal. The car was extremely fun, and I had no problems other then typical maintenance. In the end, of your a person who loves to drive, but also wants luxury and gas mileage packed in, this is the car for you.

Heartbreak
Its handling and speed are terrifc. It looks fantastic. Though riddled with issues. Left sunroof cracked open, it rained and the floor got wet. That fried out the cpu that controls door locks and radio. Close to 2K to repair. Spark plugs cost $35 each. Be prepared to spend spend spend.

Mini Cooper S: a fun drive
I adore this car but some parts of the engine are prone to wearing out. Be sure to keep an eye on the various elements engine fault codes/symbols.

Great little car.
I test drove several compact cars before I landed on the Mini. It honestly made the choice pretty easy: much larger on the inside than anticipated, nice fit and finish on interior materials and they aren't kidding about the GoKart like driving experience. The sport mode actually feels like a sport mode. From a maintenance standpoint the car treated me well. Only required routine maintenance (brakes, spark plugs, belt, coils, tires, light bulbs, oil and wipers) through the 4 years I owned with the exception of a fuel pump that was a recall.

Reliable and fun drive
This car is fast, fun, but extremely safe! anyone who is looking for a European car that is great on gas, with a powerful engine, and easy to park this is the real deal. This car has never given me any issues despite of other people experiencing different.

The least reliable car I ever owned
The car has gone for service over 10 times in two years... Multiple malfunctions from water pump to thermostat to Coils... I have put 40,000 on the car and I bought it with around 20,000

Fun and Reliable
I own a 2011 mini-cooper s. It is extremely fun to drive, gas mileage is exactly as it was stated on the sticker, and it has been very reliable. I can carry my son's 1/2 size stand-up double bass with the hatch closed. Seating in the front is great, while the back is what can be expected; a bit tight for 6 footers. Mine is red with white top, no racing stripes. Get complimented very often on how the car looks. Small size makes it easy to wash and wax. The consumer reports article that just came out listed this as a used car to stay away from. That has not been my experience at all. I've only had this car back for the normal maintenance intervals.
