  • My 23 year old Pathfinder LE has been great!

Bought 2016 had done minor repairs, maintain it well regular service checks. Mileage 250000 and still running great, 18 mile gal mileage. Used for towing trailer and road trips, cosmetic wear and tear, some electrical radio and passenger window. All in all greatest car we have bought.

  • I love this SUV!

It's May of 2020, I bought my 98 Pathfinder 0ctober of 2019 with 180k miles on it but one owner and 1 mechanic for just $1200!. As a woman I wasn't sure I'd like it but I'm half tomboy and I love it, handles well, no problems. Only complaint is the stereo, volume knob stuck and disc player sucks. But 200k is close and I can buy a new stereo!

  • Awesome vehicle for offroading or grocery shopping

One of the best vehicles I've owned. Used to own a Jeep Cherokee before and that was a good car as well. However these Pathfinders are just as good. They last a long time if you keep up with maintenance. Mine has everything original. Just replaced tires, radio and a few things that get old with age.

  • Thousands down the drain!

I was so excited when bought in 2011 from the capabilities of a pathfinder SUV &reviews, paid $5000 but worst purchase of a used car! 1 part after another needed to be fixed from Starter, fuel injectors, vacuum seal leak, oil pan & discovered timing chain-slips time after replaced & will not go back on time, even w/ 4 body shops trying to fix it, then 2 people when speaking about issues said it's Nissan your engine will be going out in few months after it's replaced with more constant small repairs &not being able to find main issue. After replacing hoses went to drive the next morning & slipped a rod &it was gone! Didn't even have it a year &spent 2,000+ in repairs. & now I avoid buying any Nissan at all!

  • First time Nissan/SUV owner. What a find!!

I’m writing this review to help others while looking for a GREAT used SUV. Found this gem on a local site the sellers had really loved the truck and it was obvious they had done their fair share of upkeep on the truck. The truck has 122k miles, starts right up. First thing in the morning 1st to 2nd shifts a little harder then the other shifts but quickly gets smoother when it heats up. I’ve noticed if I run higher RPMs in first gear (2.5) it’ll shift smooth. I usually don’t like to go over 2k rpm but this truck loves in the middle of 2k & 3k RPM. The engine purrs like a kitten I can’t even tell it’s running from 10 feet away. Not much power but that’s okay for me don’t need to be zipping around town. The gas mileage isn’t the best but it is a SUV. I’ve hit my head twice in the month I’ve had the truck getting into it. Might still be used to my single cab pickup. The leg room is a little tight. The gadgets and options inside are top notch the OEM Bose radio system sounds GREAT. All buttons and switches work as intended and convenient. Sunroof and all windows/power seats work accordingly. The folding back seats for cargo work well and are easy to set up. The previous owner mentioned they towed a boat occasionally with ease. The truck had an oil leak from the valve cover that would burn oil and create an obnoxious smell. Simple fix. The “door open” warning light stays on in the gauge cluster, must be a worn connector or something electrical somewhere. Not on top of my priority list. Truck has 4x4 haven't really gotten a chance to use it seeing as I’m in FL and have no need for it really. Everything else is working fantastic!!! I had heard rumor these trucks were known for reliability and luxury and it has yet to unimpress me. THANK YOU NISSAN FOR A GREAT TRUCK

  • Long Live the Pathfinder

I recently got an estimate saying my Pathfinder?s trade-in value was less than 400 dollars ... but to me, it?s priceless. This car was my first, I learned to drive in it, took and passed my road test in it, and even drove the love of my life around in it on our first date. Handed down to me, it wasn?t the coolest car at first but over the years, this car has proven to me time and time again its worth. This car has been in and gotten itself out of ditches, and has kept myself and my family safe. Complete with an assortment of quirks: some rust, poor stereo, fallen muffler on several occasions, this car has character. Battle scars. One tough biddy. Reliable. In almost her twentiest year, the Pathfinder is simply the best. I?ll never forget the connection with this car.

This truck is solid, the motor in it seems to outlast the body. They all suffer from rust really bad

  • Best vehicle that i have had.

I bought my 1998 pathfinder in 2009 with 130,000 miles on it. Its now 2016 still have it and now has 240,000. Put 3 sets of tires on it. Distributor cap, battery new hoses and belts including the timing belt. Muffler, tune up new wires and plugs, blower motor brakes, and shocks and struts. No major engine work and no transmission work just changed the fluid. I can not complain at all, just every now and then a repair or common maintenance that would be done on any other car. I see 300,000 easy. 6 cylinder
