Okay car

This was my first car. I bought a 2014 Nissan Versa Note SV with a little over 20k miles on it for 12k in October 2014. I traded this car in with a little less than 60k miles on it. I never had any real problems with it, but towards the end the engine sounded really loud and that is why I traded it in. If you google "nissan cvt" - there are apparently a lot of issues with their CVTs so I traded it in before anything major would break. I got a Hyundai Electra now and purchased an extended warranty on it so I am planning on having that car for 10 years as opposed to the little over 3 years I had the versa. The versa and electra are very similarly priced and I would recommend the electra over the vera hands down.

Below average overall

Bought my automatic 2014 Nissan Versa Note new. I did test drive the same model and you don't notice all the issues during a test drive. Cons: Terrible lag when starting/accelerating. Sudden jerk when braking. Both front and rear wipers are terrible including the windshield washer spray is very poor. Takes a good half hour before the car warms up in the winter. Occasionally the fan (heater) kicks in more when you hit a bump. Cup holders are in a terrible spot Pros: Cheap on gas. A lot of leg room in the back. Trunk is a decent size.

Great car!

Car drives really well. Lots of room inside. Sometimes lags a little when starting from a stop, especially on a hill, but once it gets going, it speeds up quick. Smooth ride. Will be eager to see how it does in the winter.

Most comfortable car

Even though it?s a hatchback, it?s very spacious. Comfortably seats 5 with 4 cabin luggage size suitcases. Low on power when going uphill or has too much load.

Will surprise people.

My nissan versa note has been very reliable. It is surprisingly roomy inside, despite how small it looks on the outside. The fuel.gov website shows the cars average mpg between 27 and 33 mpg, but I have been averaging 35 city/38 to 40 highway.

Consume less gas compare to most cars.

Plenty of room in passenger seats for kids. Enough leg room in rear seat. The only disadvantage, it cannot pickup nicely in uphill.
