first car

this car is a good first car. kind of hard to get into speeding trouble with this one. the power is so bad i don't feel like i can get out of the way if i needed to. also the cvt trans is very jerky and jumpy like it can't decide what gear to use (but its a cvt so it technically doesn't have gears)

Solid car for price

Does what i need it to do, was a good price and am using it for in-city use/commute, not taking on long hauls.

Great Car!

This is a very comfortable car. The only (small) downside is that the driver's side blind spot is a little large and I really have to focus on it to make sure I haven't missed anything. Other than that, this car is perfect!

Great "mini" SUV

I purchased this car for the MPG. I commute about 100 miles a day. I researched the crash rating (which is 5 stars btw) since I have two kids. I needed room, fuel efficiency, and reliablity. Since mine also came with a life time powertrain warranty from the dealship, it was a good choice. I average 37mpg. I have no problems at all so far. I've had it 3 years and it just hit 80,000 miles. I keep up EVERY service. I've been amazed with the room. I have packed up two kids, a husband, tent, camping gear, coolers... I just ordered a roof rack for it. That will give me even MORE space. If you're looking for speed or fancy, not the car for you. If you're looking for a reliable "mini" SUV that won't take you to the cleaners on gas, here you go.

Wet floor

After purchasing the vehicle, we went home to put things in the glove box, etc. and found that behind the driver's seat the floor carpeting was saturated with water. After speaking with the dealer who sold us the car, we returned it so that they could look into the situation. Once the work was completed and we were assured this would never happen again, after one afternoon of light rain the floor was wet again. The car was sent to another place for repair and we were once again reassured that the problem was resolved. We are to pick up the vehicle tonight. Now we have to wait and see if during the next rain, the vehicle is airtight. After one month, the car has only been in our possession a few days. Not a great was to enjoy your new vehicle.

Exceeded expectations

For the very reasonable price, I assumed I'd have to make the compromise of driving a "clown car", but found it astonishingly roomy. The longer wheel bed gives it a larger car ride, too. Had also wanted the ease of getting out of a higher car than my Corolla, and assumed I'd have to sacrifice that, as well. Surprise! The SV has an adjustable height driver's seat - perfect! Quieter cabin than I expected. Even though the gas tank is smaller than the Corolla, I can go the better part of a month without a refill. So far, lovin' it.

Desperately in need of wheels

Pleased with the purchase of our vehicle. Only problem was that the back seat flooring and part of the floor underneath the driver's seat was saturated with water. From where? No one was able to quite figure it out. Fortunately we found it prior to the 90 day warranty ending. The problem has been fixed (so far as we can tell), and Chris guaranteed that it will not reoccur.
