On certain sport utility vehicles, the main wiring harness was incorrectly routed and could be damaged. Damage to the wiring harness can lead to the failure of various electrical systems or to a fire.

On certain passenger vehicles, the front seat backs do not meet Porsche's strength standards. In the event of a rear-end crash, the occupied seat back could tilt on one side to the rear, increasing the risk of severe injury to the occupants.

Some of these passenger vehicles, incorrect programming of the electronic logic unit can cause an incorrect fuel level. The vehicle could run out of fuel, causing a loss of power.
Dealers will update the software in the Instrument Cluster so that the fuel level and the range of remaining fuel are determined and displayed correctly. The manufacturer has reported that owner notification began April 14, 2000. Owners who do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Porsche at 1-800-545-8039.

Fuel system, gasoline: Delivery: Fuel pump

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Panamera, Cayenne, and 2025 Panamera E-Hybrid vehicles. The fasteners securing the high pressure fuel pump may not be tightened properly, resulting in a fuel leak.
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Dealers will inspect and tighten the screw connections and replace the high pressure fuel pump and fuel lines as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed November 21, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 10, 2025.

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan 4 Electric vehicles. The front seat air bags may be improperly secured to the backrest frame, which can prevent the air bags from deploying properly.
An improper air bag deployment can increase the risk of injury during a crash. In addition, an improperly secured air bag may project loose components into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.

Suspension: Front: Macpherson strut

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2025 Panamera E-hybrid, Taycan, and Panamera vehicles. A retaining ring on top of the suspension strut may come loose, resulting in a dislodged strut and air loss from the strut spring.
An air suspension strut failure may cause a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan Electric vehicles. The rearview camera may show a blurry image or fail to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
A rearview camera that does not display an image decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

A loose seat belt buckle may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
