Great all around vehicle
I love how smooth and quiet the ride in this truck! This Ram 1500 has been perfect for us as we used it for our family in transportation.

First Dodge ever
I was a Ford kid , Chevy from 20-32 years of age, then went Toyota Tundra. That was the biggest mistake of the 3. Needed better gas/fuel mileage, and something to pull my camper on weekend trips (5700 lbs). I bought the Dodge based on the tow capacity and fuel mileage. This engine/truck is amazing. I have had a lot of trucks (1/2 ton & 3/4 tons), this Dodge Ecodiesel has blown them away. I cannot say enough about the fuel mileage and towing. Again though, that is coming out of a Tundra. This is the best truck I have ever bought.

Great truck, poor body for high salt areas
I've owned many Rams and the comfortability and performance is phenomenal. You can not get a more comfortable full size truck. If you live in an area with a lot of snow, be prepared to combat the rust.

SOLID 4X4 HEMI WITH 4 WHEEL COIL SPRING COMFORT
Finest truck I've owned compared to a 80' Jeep Commanche, 71' Ford F150, and 98' Chevy 1500 in my lifetime. Best price out there for what you get. Reliable and strong V8 to keep you up with traffic. The only pickup with 4 corner coil spring suspension that makes it feel like an old Cadillac riding along bumps and the highway. Very easy to drive for such a large vehicle but anything extended cab or up you'll need that backup camera and maybe spring for the sensor package. I've been getting around 18mpg in LA city traffic with my 4x4 in the past years of driving. Solid value from my purchasing experiences.

Always wanted a Lone Star Hemi Edition & Got One
Pros: It is a joy to drive. Plenty of power with 5.7 Hemi / 8 speed transmission and has the ride of a car (really smooth and relatively quiet). That's impressive for a 4X4. Love the Alpine sound system. Navigation system has yet to let us down and love the big touch screen. Heated seats, remote start and U-Connect phone app is nifty for sure. Crew cab carry 5 adults and children comfortable. I get 24 Highway and 12 city (but low city mileage because I idle a lot running AC). Cons: Two safety recalls drive train related so far. Other problems we had were the"electronic lock" in the tail gate had to be replaced because remote unlock button depress 2x or more times, sometimes tailgate would drop (BAM!). Fixed now but did that about 25x before repaired. At 5k miles the "Fuel Sensor" failed so truck appeared empty and remote start disabled. Covered under warranty but 5k miles and failed... really??? Does not give me faith in longevity of the electronics moving forward &this truck is loaded with them! So overall 4 star rating by me. I still love the truck going on 2 years and it was a fantastic ride on a recent family vacation long road trip (3600mi). I have not had any problems with my dealer getting repairs completed under warranty. One other problem I had when I 1st purchased was one seat belt would not always latch but dealer changed out immediately. Wish I purchased the leather interior with cooling seats. Heated seats are great but Texas heat would have made cooling seats a plus. I also wish the Lone Star "Silver"crossed barbed wire grill was the standard (cost extra). I got the original louver black/chrome. I really don't like the new big lettered "RAM" on the front grill (ugly). I really see me owning this truck for over 10 years. I bought a 08 standard cab new and still own it. No problems and only recall was airbags.

All-around great truck!
Comfortable, stylish, rugged, powerful, great truck for personal use. I have the Laramie and it is probably a little high-end for professional/commercial use. The heated and ventilated seats are really nice, full leather interior, plush. Rides more like a car than any truck I have owned. My only complaint is that the front and rear sensors in the bumpers are pretty useless in winter weather.

My Chevy went 250 thousand , will see about ram
I hate the growling vibration in eco mode, hate it. When it shifts to four cylinders At 1500 rpm there is not enough power and it vibrates.

Most comfortable ride
The Ram 1500 is spacious well laid out and most comfortable vehicle I have driven. The exterior design and overall look of the Ram 1500 is much more appealing than other trucks in it's class

Not worth it
I got a ram 1500 it was way to expensive and it sucked the first 2 months it started dripping oil so then I got it fixed and that winter it wouldnt start so I had to plug it in and even after I plugged it in all night it took 15 minutes to minutes so I was late for work. One of my friends has a 2018 chevy silverdo 1500hd and had no problems with it.One of my other friends had a 2018 ford f-150 lariat and he also had no problems with it.
