Commercial grade
Power capable confident, that's how I feel. The Cummings motor is unable to be matched. Quite powerful. The full gauge option in very informative. Fit and finish is perfect. I may never need another new truck!

2016 ram 2500 laramie
Nicest, quietest, most comfortable and capable truck I've ever owned. I've a small fleet of trucks for my business, all rams, and this 2500 is the best of the lot.

Awesome sauce
The RAM 2500 is the best truck you can buy. I have owned Chevy and Ford trucks and none match the durability of the ram.

Good Runner
2016 Ram 2500 Laramie CC SRW 6.7 diesel with 3.42 axle and LT285/60R20E OWL tires. Came from a 2015 Silverado 6.0 gasser. Pulling a 12K fifth-wheel and the Silverado really struggled up 6% grades. Hence, the 6.7 cummins. Was hard to leave Chevy but the Ram 2500 ride is at least as smooth with the rear coils. Better mpg and more grunt for towing. Especially at altitude. Plus when comparing Chev to Ram, Chevy could not meet or beat the purchase price at 24% off MSRP. Especially with the packages and options. Had one warranty issue (fuel filter) which was handled immediately. DEF has not been an issue, maybe 4 gallons in 7,500 miles. In Minnesota so I plug it in and use the grill cover. She fires rights up in -20 below. Only issue is payload on the 3/4 tons, around 2,300 - 2,700, so may consider the full ton since my fifth-wheel tongue weight is around 2,400. Have driven the Chevy 1 ton and ride is so-so, turning radius not as sharp as the 1 ton Ram. If a 1 ton is in my future, will be looking at the Ram 3500.

Best 3/4 ton on the road
I have owned several trucks. Toyota, Nissan, GM and Ford. The Dodge Ram 2500 Cummings Diesel is by far the best. Just finished driving from NJ to So. Cal with a stop in Vail. Put some Cooper tires on it and this truck is unstoppable.

1000 miles engine failure
2016 1500 5.7 hemi. Truck ran great and was very happy right up to the point when while driving 25 Mph the valve head fail and destroyed cylinder #3. Only 1300 miles 6 weeks old. Chrysler wants to rebuild. I want a replacement motor. No one can explain why my $45,000 truck would fail. Chrysler customer service is only lip service with no follow through.

2015 RAM 2500 Crewcab SLT Bighorn Cummins
Looked for over a year for a 2016, short box Laramie 2500 4x4 cummins with the key options I was looking for. Auto real level (airbag suspension) remote start and 60/40 seat. Average price was looking between 52-65k had a great dealership, Champion Dodge in Decatur, Al offer to build me a 2017 in that range. Ending up finding a 2015 Bighorn that had all the features of a Larame Dept leather. I saved over 18k with the 2015, it had 11,000 miles and many upgrades. Generally the same truck as the 2016-17. One note, I drove over 18 cummins 2500s 2015-2017. All low milage, 3.42 axial 4x4s crew and mega cabs. No two trucks are the same. One truck had a terrible steering wobble, another lots of steering play, another the breaks were terrible, took forever to stop. Other me were dogs. 18 or 20 inch wheels didn't seem to matter besides ride preference. My opinion, some 16s and the 17s I drove had a much better automatic transmission that made dead stop acceleration much better than the 2015 I bought. However $18,000 is to much money for 10lbs of torque gain

Awesome Truck, definitely would recommend.
I purchased a 2016 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.4L in September. I highly recommend this truck. I have owned a 2005 GMC 3500 SLT, 2006 Ford F350 Lariat 6.0, and a 2014 Ram 1500 Sport. Out of all three big truck brands I like the Ram more. They all have pros and cons. I would say I love everything about my Ram 2500. If I had to come up with some thing negative it would be fuel mileage. Getting about 3-4 MPG less than my 5.7 L 1500. Its a bigger, heavier truck, so I expected the MPG's to drop. This truck has a lot of power, excellent styling, very comfortable, and reliable. My last Ram was very reliable and that is one reason I stayed with Ram. The 6.4 L has plenty of power, suspension appears and feels substantial and high quality. I looked at the 6.7 Cummins, its a great engine. For me the 6.4L meet all my needs, maintenance & repair costs are less, cost of fuel is less, still tows a lot of weight, up front cost is less. Could not justify paying $10,000 more for the diesel. My next truck will be a Ram.

Best truck I've owned hands down
I have the 2500 6.7 liter Laramie... This truck is a beast... Comfortable, rides a little stiff Empty but the more weight you put in this truck the better it rides... definitely more heavy duty than the ford or gm...really comfortable and plenty of room for a family of four...interior is much nicer than the ford or gm... meaning softer leather and more comfortable seats.. Ram really did a good job on this truck..
