2019 Subaru Forester consumer reviews

Wanted a car to last for a long time that was highly rated. Subaru kept coming up on searches for satisfied customers and after our test drive we were convinced. We bought our new 2019 Forester and hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

This car has superior visibility. I enjoy driving it and am impressed with all of the safety features. It handles beautifully and is very comfortable.

We're new to Subaru and to our 2019 Forester Premium. So far, we couldn't be more pleased. The seats both front and rear are the most comfortable of all the competing models we test-drove, and the cabin is very roomy. Cargo space is ample for our needs (and we sometimes have to transport bulky medical supplies as well as groceries). We also really love the handy storage tray just above the spare tire, which has plenty of nooks in which to put a tool kit, first aid kit, and other odds and ends and to keep small valuables out of sight. Visibility is outstanding and I find pickup and acceleration to be more than adequate -- the Forester is quite peppy compared to our old Camry! Safety features abound and handling is confident and predictable. There's a short learning curve with the controls (many of which are on the steering wheel itself), but a bit of practice and I'm already getting comfortable. The entertainment system is quite good and the Forester even still has a CD drive, which we use and appreciate. The AWD will be a godsend in the winter and when we drive on bumpy and hilly gravel roads out in the country. Fit and finish are excellent and the amenities are thoughtful. A great product from Subaru, well-deserving of its high ranking.

This car meets our needs - room for walker/rolater and oxygen plus grocery shopping. It moves us around in comfort and style. The Forester rides well on the open road.

This suv meets my needs ands a pleasure to drive! Good mileage and manuverability. Lots of safety features. Holds the road and great on wet pavements.

I have only had it one day. I am overwhelmed by all of the gadgetry on the car but hope to learn. I love the color .

Subaru, in general, is always a good/reliable purchase. Great in the winter, always dependable, smooth drive. Interior is roomy, comfortable, easy to see out, and no blind spots

This car is perfect for me. It is a great size, has plenty of room and love the new styling. My favorite part is all of the safety equipment on the vehicle.

This is our first new car in 12 years. We needed a car with a good safety record as well as being comfortable. It is a smooth ride, has good acceleration and good visibility.

This is my 4th Subaru Forrester. All were great cars(4star) but the 2019 Limited with its safety features is by far the best. Five Star Plus.
