Love everything about it!

I have been Honda loyal for over 20 years. After test driving my new Forester, I immediately knew this was my new car and, I couldn't be happier with my decision!

500 miles and problems

We bought the 2019 Forested less than 2 months ago in mid July 2019 at 500 miles the windshield cracked from driver side to middle of the passenger side. When we took it into Hueberger a Subaru, Colorado Springs, amazingly the service manager's what he called a chip the size of the end of a ball point pen. It cracked over nite while in the garage. We are at a time there is not gravel on the road and we did not see or hear a rock. Then he said because of the eyesight cameras the glass is thinner than other windshields. Major design flaw in a vehicle built for snow and off road driving! The windshields are 1100.00 installed..so guess we'll have to drive my 2010 Jetta in the snow.. original windshield, or the 2005 Pontiac vibe, original windshield. We have a case # with Subaru and they may warranty one time. I am not happy and the thought that we already have this issue is concerning.

Amazed by the Versatility of My Subaru Forester

Wonderful ride, great gas mileage, no more worries about reliability. I’ve waited nearly 20 years to purchase a quality import and this is it. It’s an adventure every time I drive it!

Most comfortable car I’ve ever had.

I’m short and wide with longer arms and legs than usual for my height. Never had a car that fit me so well before only 2 things I would change are bigger side mirrors and the rearmost window. Those I can get used to!

Switched from Ford

Consumer Reports rating of Forester got me seriously thinking: safety, better gas mileage, cheaper car insurance, and a cheaper lease payment than my Ford Escape. What’s not to love?

It Works; It Fits Me; It's Safe

It goes when I want to go. It has everything I need, including a sunroof and plenty of space to haul stuff. The seat adjusts so well that, at 5'1", I can see out of it. It allows me to turn off the stuff I don't want. And it drives - and parks more easily than the two-door sedan I had before. The big test will be the Minnesota winter! But I am optimistic.

Love this car

This car drives great and I love all of the technology and safety features. This is an easy car to drive and I feel very safe because of the Eyesight feature.

Driver Asssit is very confussing

The driver assist feature is very confusing, I am unable to set defaults, the car seems to have an inconsistent mind of its own. The key fob control open rear door does not work.

I’m blown away by the safety and luxury amenities!

This car far exceeded our expectations! We test drove the outback first and agreed it didn’t feel right for our family. Then we drove the Forester and knew instantly thought it was the car for us. We ordered the car from the factory and waited patiently for 10 days, when it arrived we headed to the dealer immediately. Once we were going to the final walk-through we learned all of the true features of the car. Adaptive cruise control, Lane departure alert, huge moonroof and emergency contact in case of an airbag deploy meant were things we already knew about but then there was all of the safety ratings, Apple CarPlay, Intelligent voice command, etc etc we were even more excited about. We absolutely love our Forester!
