2022 Subaru Touring - Abyss Blue Pearl

This is my 3rd Subaru Outback. Previously owned a 2010 & 2013 (SAP) Limited. I shopped around and nothing (once again) compared to Subaru. My 2022 Outback Touring with Java Brown Nappa interior is simply the best yet, with Eyesight Technology and all of the safety features, e.g., Lane Keeping, Adaptive Cruise Control & Blind Spot Monitoring etc. Love the 11.6 in touch screen, especially being integrated into the dash instead of looking like an iPad "stuck" on the dash. Best bang for the buck!!

My 22 Outback Touring

Love this car so far, the more I drive it the more I like it. Has a lot of features I didn't think I'd use but for an old man I'm really liking all the features my Touring Model has. I'm an auto mechanic by trade [45+years] and drive all kinds of different brands, in my opinion Subaru is as good as any car in it's class and better than most just drive one in 1\2 foot of snow and find out for yourself.

Poorly designed electronics and transmission

The Outback Touring XT has a rough-sounding turbo engine coupled to a jerky, inconsistent CVT transmission that makes smooth starts impossible. Electronics are consistently awful, from the (not really) voice-activated navigation to the slow, finicky touch-screen that controls nearly everything. Useful stuff is hidden behind the front menus, and some buttons are too small to be useable, like fan speed. Warnings and alerts set off constant beeps and dings, defeating the purpose of the warning. There are some positives: the seats are very comfortable and the ride is good. The bad stuff far outweighs the good.

I bought one.

Bought one very happy. Plenty of power. Quiet ride and no squeaks. Seats are cushy and full power. Very easy to enter the car. Love the large screen and safety equipment.

Great Buy and a great SUV

Ride is great , gas mileage is 33mpg and Subaru reliability Really love this car and we feel so safe in it . The dealership put us through a training class to teach us how to use the options to the max.
