Love my Model X

I recently purchased. a Model X Long Range to replace my 2021 Audi e-tron; I couldn’t be happier. The Tesla is faster, more efficient, and more fun to drive and the charging network is second to none. Interior quality and ride are comparable. My dogs love the extra room and Dog Mode in the Tesla. I have no regrets!

Excellent value, safest car world record

Excellent SUV. I primarily bought the X because it has the highest safety rating of any car tested by EURO NCAP. I know that my kids are safe and if anything were to happen we have the lowest probability of injury or death. That’s most important. It’s fun to drive, handles extremely well for a truck and it can easily pass others on the interstate. I save $5000 a year in fuel and charge overnight at my home. The autopilot is the best I’ve ever seen, it recognizes everything on the road at all times. It can see in every direction and I’ve never had an issue with it. They continually update the autopilot over the air, so you’re always getting the best version. The app automatically preheats and pre-cools in the winter and summer before I head to work which is one of the best features ever. I used to have a remote starter with my Q5 but I always had to manually start the car and it took forever to heat up or cool, if I forgot to pre set the climate before I left the Q5 it wouldn’t work. Overall I’ve had no issues. The other reviews seem disingenuous.

2023 model x

Tesla This is my first EV … having this car for 3 months now, here are my observations.. The good: - ride is very smooth, on par with S Class … customizable suspension works well going from sport car firm, to towncar cloudy - observability and interior ergonomics are very good (outside of shifter and button for a horn). Interior quality is good, the storage space is amazing!! the yoke steering is good. - experience using EV vs ICE is positive. Despite general debate on whether EV is limiting mobility, i found it to be the opposite … with 300+ range and electricity being “free”, it’s a true American dream … you can go anywhere and save thousands over time. With similar performance, you are looking at a car that sips premium gas with 12 PMG, the savings are phenomenal - Audio quality is good … ride is quiet Cons - Getting this car, i “did zero research whatsoever”, but occasionally I would stumble upon articles like “someone fell asleep and autopilot took them home” or “someone was riding at the back seat while car was driving itself” - i took it as a testament to tesla tech, but in reality it’s a testament to peoples stupidity, like a guy riding hayabusa on the interstate wearing bandana and flip flops … - the technology: it is totally bogus, and criminally illegal. The only reason why this company is not sued into oblivion is because they bear no responsibility for any assistant tech. From small things to headlights going off, to car being totally inoperable (the shifter is controlled by screen and if that screen goes dark … which it does .. the car can’t move), to straight up dangerous, like autopilot reading speed limit but totally ignoring it. I got a ticket that way. The way this autopilot interprets the road is immature, it will 100% cause an accident if one is not paying attention. It cannot interpret the lanes or see things on its way. And the funny thing is, that tesla has logs of everything. They know it is wrong and they are keeping quiet when they get challenged - there is no parking sensor!! Good luck if you live in a place like NY! The visual park assist is totally bogus - For lease, the mileage overcharge is is 45c a mile … on Lucid it’s 25 … since you end up driving a lot, it adds up.
