A GREAT car now that Nav. Voice Prompts is fixed

I was disappointed that the navigation voice prompts did not work without a litany of pre-start steps. But, it has been repaired, and it is now the best car we have owned! From comfort, size, cargo space, ease-of- driving, safety and bells and whistles, it is a joy to drive. Hats off to Toyota for making a great car.

First and last Toyota.

Same as ALL THE OTHERS. Ridiculous to spend this kind of $ and Toyota won’t fix the navigation and speak easy. HORRIBLE customer no service

Limited has plastic hubcaps

Just bought a Highlander Limited. While washing it the first time I found out it has PLASTIC HUBCABS! I know the dealer calls them "Chrometec". It is a shiny vacuum deposition over plastic permanently glued to the wheel itself. Look at the reviews of these wheels before buying a Limited or Platinum Highlander. I wish I had.

PURCHASE NUMBER 3

I purchased my third Highlander in March. I love everything about this car. I kept thinking I should do something different so I test drove similar models of other makes. Nothing compared to the Toyota Highlander. I spoke so highly about my Highlander that my brother purchased the one I was going to trade. I purchased the Limited Platinum so I would have more of what I love about the Highlander. I look forward to lots of vacation trips and just about-town trips in the comfort of my Highlander.

Most safety features and creature comforts ever!

This vehicle is comfortable for both front and backseat passengers, allowing each to control individual seat adjustments and climate control. The safety features add to peace of mind when traveling in this vehicle.

Don't buy the 2019 Highlander Hybrid Platinum

Went for all the bells and whistles with this one. However, there's a serious and major issue with voice navigation, Easy Speak, and all voice prompts -- they do not function at all. At all. I knew there was a problem when it didn't function the day I handed them the bank check to drive it home. It hadn't even left the dealer's lot yet, and it wasn't functioning. they got it to work, apparently with some temporary fix, because it stopped working as soon as the car was turned off and then on again at home. Brought it back the very next day, to have a loaner all day. Bought the new vehicle exactly one week ago and it has been at the dealer, counting today, three times for the same issue. Bought the car Thursday, April 18, 2019, and it was in the shop all day on Friday, the 19th, Tuesday and Wednesday, the 24 and 25, and again today, the 26th. Have had the loaner more days than the new car. They cannot fix it. They said a "part is on order but it's hard to find because it's such a new car," but I have a feeling I know where this is going - arbitration, or, if the dealer does the right thing - my money back. They said it could be "two week, two months, we'll call you when it comes in." Well it's at Toyota now, and I'm driving the loaner - a Nissan Maxima, and to be honest, I'm liking it. Forget the 2019 Highlander Hybrid platinum - it's not fully baked, and has a major, major issue that there is no fix for. You can't read maps while you're driving your kids from place to place - you need the navigation system and voice prompts. It is a safety issue.

First Toyota we have ever owned.

My wife loves it. Too many features to learn, but sure is fun exploring the features! Too bad this is our first one....maybe a pickup next!

This SUV has plenty of room and very comfortable ride. Handles great. Gas milage is great for the size of the SUV. I still Love it!

Very smooth riding

Fold down seats accommodate my needs, yet it is shorter and more narrow than Sienna I used to have and it fits better in garage.
