  • Hopefully a Great Car like our 2004 Prius

As a proud owner of a 2004, 2 Gen Prius with 170K miles, we just brought our second Prius, . . . this time a 2016 Prius V. We love the smooth ride and comfort of the Prius V, as well as the spacious interior, cargo space, and the fuel economy. The single drawback is its exterior look. I think it is the ugliest car on the road. It reminds me of a wide-mouth bass, . . . referring to the front grille. Oh well, you can't have everything!

160k. And she still runs. Have not had any mechanical issues or major repairs. Can’t figure out why I have not done anything to the brakes. Have stayed current with maintenance all with Toyota Dealers in the country, including oil changes.

  • Versatile, well-built, and efficient

I was looking for a wagon that gets good gas mileage, reliable, and has room for my family of 4 plus a 90 lb dog. It ticks all the boxes. Build quality is good as you would expect from a Toyota. It is classic Toyota, does what is designed to do very proficiently. There is a little bit of a learning curve on driving it getting used to the acceleration. The 4 cylinder struggles at times to move the car if asked to be expeditious, but if I think back to engines of a while ago, the acceleration is normal. - just not what we are used to with some of the higher powered sedans/SUVs that exist now. .29cd makes it slippery but 134 hp limits its capability in accelerating - I am fine with it - just have to plan a little more before pulling out. I was debating between the Outback and this, and reliability/safety with a family in our WI climate is the most important feature for me and Toyota has that in spades in their vehicles. Like the fact that the a/c is electric and runs off the traction battery. I have had the car for 3 weeks and 1000 miles approx. Avg 40 mpgs

  • Best Decision I could have made!

I bought this vehicle after two of my friends purchased regular Pruis models. I loved the extra space available and overall appearance of the car. When I test drove it, I fell in love and decided to buy it! It has been the best decision I have ever made. It is a good size vehicle and allows me to travel with both of my dogs and cargo. It would for a good family car and is a great road tripping car! LOVE IT!

  • Great auto terrible Dealer Culver City Toyota

Much better viability than standard Prius. Interior great but selector dial requires getting use to. It's rather touchy. Mileage less than regular Prius but still good.

  • great gas mileage

I bought a used Prius in great shape and I am very happy with the interior space, the comfort, and the gas mileage. The tech features are new to me as I have been driving a 19-year-old car, but so far I have figured out how to use them without too much trouble.

Car is brilliant technology, saved a ton of money in gas. Great styling - every option. Only 11, 965 easy miles. The extra Hypersonic Red paint is beautiful and not a ticket magnet!

  • Outstanding practical small wagon..

Was not prepared to like the Prius V as well as I do, very practical and economical to operate. Very comfortable on long trips and with my cruise set at 80 mph I get consistently about 40 mpg with very little road noise and the handling is excellent.. Have gotten over 60 mpg around town..

  • Great performance

Just returned from a vacation to Colorado from the Dallas area. We drove over 2000 miles and made several trips over the mountain pass of about 10,000 feet. We averaged 39.8 mpg during the vacation. One major item that sold up on the Prius was the comfort of the rear set for we were a party of four during the trip. The Prius V-4 performed above expectation. Would recommend the Prius V for all occasions.
