Great car, reliable and fun!

I bought my golf new at the end of 2016 and would have kept it much longer if it had not been totaled in an accident. The few little issues I had were covered under the initial warranty (coolant leak, trunk leak). Nothing else other than normal maintenance things like brakes and tires up to 81,000 - that's as far as I can speak to. I took good care of it, did the VW service things for the most part and I have no doubt it would have lasted to 200K or beyond. It looked cool and was fun to drive. I had the S manual. I enjoy driving and had a tiny regret about not getting the Wolfsburg edition (faster engine, slightly better options like heated seats and sun/moon roof).

Sleek, sporty and drives like a dream

This may be influenced by the fact that I hated my last car (chevy sonic), but I love my pre-owned Golf. It’s a Wolfsburg edition— which I understand to mean it just has more bells and whistles than usual. The engine is exceptionally quiet and it drives so smoothly, and accelerating is especially easy and quick. I’m a huge fan of the cargo space as well. The only downside is the minimal leg room in the back seat, but I’m not usually driving with multiple passengers so it’s not a big problem for me.

My second 2017 Golf Wolfsburg

On January 2, 2019, I bought a black CPO 2017 VW Golf Wolfsburg edition that only had 14,848 miles. It was relatively quiet but the car felt “loose”. The steering nor brakes felt tight. I think it was abused by the previous owner. I had to replace two tires due to wear (I replaced all 4 of them). No major issues. Even with my concerns, I thoroughly enjoyed the car. A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing through different VW dealers looking for CPO 2017 VW Golf Wolfsburg editions and I found 3 vehicles close to me, with low mileage, but one had a recently reduced price that bested the other two. On March 28, 2020, I traded my black Golf with 46795 miles for a CPO Dark Blue 2017 Golf Wolfsburg edition that only had 6,240 miles. This car was very well taken care of and still smells brand new. The steering and brakes are tight. Great suspension and it runs a lot smoother and quieter than my previous Golf. I really enjoy this vehicle. Love the hatchback versatility. There are only two downsides: 1- tight rear seat leg room 2- the US will not get the next generation Golf

most comfortable car I had

this car met all of my needs .has a plenty of leg room also some usb ports best rear camera i have ever seen great mpg

I love Volkswagen for there reliability

Everything is a little more refined on a VW

Coming from a Ford Focus ST, I'm very happy with this CPO 2017 VW Golf Wolfsburg. The interior is simple and clean, the seats are comfortable, and everything is very well engineered. It doesn't have the HP of the ST, but everything else is very, very nice.

Zippy and Stylish!

This car is fantastic, great value for the money and very stylish. Performance and handling is very good for a smaller car. I am pleased.

Live this car!

It’s very sturdy for a small vehicle, passengers fit comfortably in the backseat and front seat’s, my dog loves it, would buy another one !

Most enjoyable car I’ve ever drive.

I own 2017 VW Golf Wolfsburg edition. The look of VW Golf, king of hot hatch is perfect from design perspective. The car interior is look and feel premium compare to other cars with same size and price. The handling is great and always pleasure to drive. I drove a little more than 22k and got 29mpg on local and up to 44mpg on freeway without roof rail. After I installed the roof rail, I got 40mpg. No other cars can match except hybrid. With stock tuned 170hp and 199 ft-lbs of torque, the car accelerates very quick. If you want quicker acceleration, switch the drive to sport mode. The engine rev up even more and pull you out very first. Unbelievably quick and amazing. Instrument cluster are premium and precise. When you drive with adaptive cruise control, the speed you set is insanely accurate and easy to operate. 6 speed automatic transmission performs extremely well and smooth. Off course, this is real gear driven automatic transmission, not a xxxxty CVT at most Japanese cars. The best things about European auto is that you can mod the car with after market performance parts and accessories if you like to. These are just examples, I still have a lot..a lot to say good about my VW Golf.

Excellent car and great value

I love my Golf! Fun to drive, 43 mpg highway (gas engine). Very comfortable and roomy hatchback. No problems at all. Would definitely by another VW!
