I knew I needed an oil change but when they did their Check, they discovered other things that needed to be addressed. This car is eye-catchingly beautiful and attracts attention wherever I drive it. It is also blazingly fast as confirmed with a recent 170+ mph blast around the road course at Daytona International Speedway. Even at such elevated speeds, it is extremely confidence-inspiring with rock solid stability and directional control. On top of all that, it is quite comfortable and maintenance is reasonable for an exotic car. It is also Honda reliable! The interior is well laid out and attractive. For a car that sits as low as this one, it has good headroom (I am 6' 1"). The seats are supportive without being intrusive. On the track, one gets the lateral support needed, but never with any discomfort. My only beef with the interior is the controls for the audio system. They are not user friendly, even though they would be familiar to most Acura owners. The flip side is that the (upgraded) sound system is very good--once you figure out how to turn it on and select what you want to hear. The carbon-ceramic brakes are simply phenomenal. At Daytona, I was braking from over 160 mph before the chicane and the car always stayed where I pointed it with no wiggles. It did not seem possible to make them fade--in fact they performed better when they warmed up. This car makes no pretense about being a family car. It a true exotic sports car and notwithstanding its excellent interior comfort, it is very much performance focused. Cost effectiveness is pretty much dependent on one's perspective and purpose in owning such a vehicle. It actually gets decent mileage when driven "normally." I get between 23 and 25 mpg on the highway. This goes down to 6 mpg on the track! While I loved my 1991 NSX, this car is in a different league and I can't see myself selling it even though I could do so at a profit.

They asked US what WE wanted and OUR budget. Then they pulled each car up to us while we waited in the showroom. No pressures. No price haggling. Superstore inventory on their massive lot. No experience in repair rating so average given. Overall 4 stars due to no one being perfect. They came very close. We will recommend Velocity to anyone needing a near new vehicle.

This car has Ferrari looks and Honda reliablity. A great car for weekend trips and daily grocery getting - at least the lack of trunk space prevents "over shopping".

A exotic car with Honda reliability. This is one of the best handling cars even for todays standard. It does lack some of the power that modern sports cars have. There are other vehicles with better numbers for the price, but drive this car and find out why Ferrari, Corvette and todays sports cars are built like they are today.

I purchased a C8 convertible about 1 1/2 years ago from Autoboom. They were clear about price and doc fee. Best car I've ever owned. I've owned porche, bmw but none compared. its an acura/honda... besides styling that was my #2 buying reason. I've never had to do anything to this car but regular maintenance. I've now owned it for 13 years and people still stop me and tell me what a beautiful car it is. Red with Tan Interior. Its only 6 cylinder but fast as heck if I need it to be. Not fast as in drag racer fast but... on the road if I step on it the mph just keeps climbing and with no dips along the way. during gear shifts .. upto 160mph fast Gas mileage around town has been 22-23mpg usually (the honda part of the car <g>). Best part is a 1992 looks the same as a 1994 looks the same as a 2004. for almost all appearances. Great Car, Great Fun.

Before buying this car I did all the resaerch. I was a bit skeptical at first that a sport car that only produced 290 horse power could hang with the big boys but I was quickly proven wrong after my first test drive. All the cars at my house use to be beamers untill I baught the NSX and now I'm happy to say that my wife drives an 06 Acura TL type-S, my daughter drives an 05 Acura RSX type-S, and my daily driver is a brand new 09 acura RL. But my weekend baby will allways be my 2005 NSX-T

For the price, technology, comfort, reliability and warranty is the best supercar I've own! better than a 570s, Huracan, 458 period and Acura will actually honor their warranty no questions asked. In my case a 60k repair was fully paid for by Acura, the NSX never gives me any problems, it actually works.

This car exceeded my expectations and is a blast to drive. It turns heads and garners questions/pictures everywhere I go. It’s super fast and gets 23mpg. With aftermarket downpipes and exhaust added just two months after purchasing, the turbo whistle is soo loud and it crackles and pops when slowing down. Mesmerizing sounds! It’s literally the perfect car. It still feels surreal to own it and daily drive it when I please. Looking forward to taking it to the drag races!

They gave my car a full checkup, in addition to a routine oil change and the recall repair. This included thoughtfully sending an email (including a video recording) with a thorough report of the health of the car. And although they provided me with a very helpful list of suggested items I might want to address in the future, I was never pressured to make these repairs at their shop. Of course I'll be back regardless, though - because this place is simply amazing. Their love for their work, extensive knowledge, enthusiasm for the cars they service, and deep respect for their customers is extremely evident. And though my particular car may have a bit of patina (at least compared to many of the beautiful vehicles in their showroom) I was treated like royalty by the staff. For example, when I inquired about the location of the nearest bus to get home, they immediately insisted on scheduling for a driver to give me a ride instead.
