This car is eye-catchingly beautiful and attracts attention wherever I drive it. It is also blazingly fast as confirmed with a recent 170+ mph blast around the road course at Daytona International Speedway. Even at such elevated speeds, it is extremely confidence-inspiring with rock solid stability and directional control. On top of all that, it is quite comfortable and maintenance is reasonable for an exotic car. It is also Honda reliable! The interior is well laid out and attractive. For a car that sits as low as this one, it has good headroom (I am 6' 1"). The seats are supportive without being intrusive. On the track, one gets the lateral support needed, but never with any discomfort. My only beef with the interior is the controls for the audio system. They are not user friendly, even though they would be familiar to most Acura owners. The flip side is that the (upgraded) sound system is very good--once you figure out how to turn it on and select what you want to hear. The carbon-ceramic brakes are simply phenomenal. At Daytona, I was braking from over 160 mph before the chicane and the car always stayed where I pointed it with no wiggles. It did not seem possible to make them fade--in fact they performed better when they warmed up. This car makes no pretense about being a family car. It a true exotic sports car and notwithstanding its excellent interior comfort, it is very much performance focused. Cost effectiveness is pretty much dependent on one's perspective and purpose in owning such a vehicle. It actually gets decent mileage when driven "normally." I get between 23 and 25 mpg on the highway. This goes down to 6 mpg on the track! While I loved my 1991 NSX, this car is in a different league and I can't see myself selling it even though I could do so at a profit.

This car exceeded my expectations and is a blast to drive. It turns heads and garners questions/pictures everywhere I go. It’s super fast and gets 23mpg. With aftermarket downpipes and exhaust added just two months after purchasing, the turbo whistle is soo loud and it crackles and pops when slowing down. Mesmerizing sounds! It’s literally the perfect car. It still feels surreal to own it and daily drive it when I please. Looking forward to taking it to the drag races!

I have been searching for an Audi R8 with a manual transmission for over a year. I found one on Florida performance cars website and got a hold of them. They not only took my 370 Z in on trade they arranged for its pick up in South Dakota and delivered my Audi to me at my home. Then after I got my Audi I discovered a small leak in the coolant line. I purchased a 2009 Jeep Wrangler from them. Even though it was a cheaper car and not what they normally sell they still treated me as if I was buying an expensive vehicle which was very comforting. The A/C blower and brake caliper had an issue after 1000 miles of driving the car and they still paid the repair cost. I would buy from them again, hopefully something nicer next time! They have great prices
