2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2025 Ford Bronco review

2024 Chevrolet Equinox review

2021 Genesis G90 review
The G90 is an excellent vehicle. I have owned Cadillac, Lincoln, and Lexus, this 2021 and the 2018 G90's I owned are by far my best owned autos. With the Lincolns and Cadillacs I was on a first name basis with the service manager. The Genesis's only went back to the dealer for scheduled maintenance. What more can I say, luxury, performance, attention to detail and overall quality are all outstanding.

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
I replaced my 2019 Grand Sport with this 2024 Stingray, and while I really liked the GS I like my Stingray even more. The most succinct summary I can present of the two cars is the C7 is a muscle car and the C8 is a sports car, and I prefer the latter.

2016 Lexus RX 350 review
This is my 3rd Lexus, and second RX. Most reliable was my GX470. My RX350, 2016, F Sport is a very nice vehicle. I am disappointed in several common issues: Door lock fail (replaced twice on driver door), water pump fails (common problem), my panoramic sun roof black cover has also failed. I see other owners with the same issues. What is happening to Lexus quality? Maybe still better than most, but I assumed a car manufacturer would improve with time in quality? The issues noted above are common if you search.

2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
The car has been great with one glaring exception. The 2023 Rav 4 navigation system and manuals explaining it are far from easily understood by some of us with advanced degrees and years of experience in writing and interpreting complicated financial documents. The 2023 Nav screen is as much a distraction as driving while using a mobile phone a highly discouraged practice., perhaps more dangerous. Our 2028 Rav 4's Nav system and manual were easily understood. intuitively structured and easily used during our drives and with a safe screen. Somehow the 2023 version escaped those virtuous characteristics and is one that has made me start to consider trading our 2023 in after 7 months.

2015 Toyota Tacoma review
Bought my 2015 TRD Off Road Tacoma new off the lot and it has been a solid truck. I have only had to do a few things to it here and there, but I pull a trailer with a 1200lb SXS to West Virginia several times per year. In other words, I use my truck! I love it. Like any vehicle it isn't perfect. It has a few squeaks and rattles and there are things that could've been improved, but the engine and tranny are still going strong at 186k miles. I do hate that the headlights are prone to haze over and there is a noticeable whistle when traveling at 70+mph especially during crosswinds. The touchscreen display is impossible to read in bright sunlight because of the angle, and the blower fan could use more adjustment. As it gets older I have noticed there is some leakage of air to the defroster because the airway door isn't closing off completely. I can live with that. I have people ask me all the time if I want to sell it and I'm like NOPE! I'll keep it as long as I can.

2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. 2014 Toyota Tacoma review
Purchased this truck new ten years ago, four door, six foot bed, towing package- fuel mileage is not the best (16mpg avg) due to the towing gear ratio, however I tow a lot of boats up to 22 feet and have never had a problem. Currently have 80,000 miles with only routine manufacturer recommended maintenance. Only negative, my wife finds the truck too long (19 feet) for the mall parking spaces.

2021 Ford Mustang review
For the money it is hard to beat a new Mustang on any trim level but especially the 5.0. Also the 10 speed automatic is a fantastic transmission as it keeps the engine in the powerband when asking for performance.
