2016 Ford Escape review
Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

2016 Nissan Sentra review
I recommend this car for city driving though interstate driving is ok. I bought it new with 54 miles on it. I don't even have 11000 mi on it in 9 years. I've only replaced the battery twice and engine air filter once. The car is comfortable and reliable including tire pressure warnings during snow.

2014 Ford C-Max Hybrid review
Had the C-Max Hybrid for about a month, and overall it's been a joy to drive. A real all-purpose vehicle that routinely achieves 35-40 mpg in the city, the primary reason we sought it out was it's amazing visibility. Our 6'-5" teenager has not problem getting comfortable behind the wheel, and I've never driven a vehicle that has such great viewing angles - you almost feel too exposed while driving! The regenerative brakes are typically more sensitive than regular brakes, but overall I have only praise for this very versatile little car!

2014 Dodge Grand Caravan review
I had 6 of these in the last 15 years. Mostly do breaks, change tires and fluids. NEVER in any of these did I have a transmission issue. Love the stow away seats. Plenty of power in the V6 3.6L engine. I sold 5 of these, and got only thanks. Was never stranded, Countless Florida and Canada trips, Great family car.

2013 Chrysler Town & Country review
I have enjoyed this car very much. It has 105000 miles and hasn't given me any problems. This is my fourth Chrysler van. The first one got 300,00 miles before I junked it. It was still running very good, but it was over 20 years old.

2007 Volvo S80 review
My Volvo S80 is 2007, now as I am writing this review it is year 2020. Simple put, the best car ever made. I owned Mercedes, Toyota and Mazada. All fine cars but got rid of them within a year or two. This one I kept over a decade and has no plan to part with it. In these 13 years it only required oil change, new tires and scheduled service. Only just replaced battery last year. The newly redesigned Volvo has only V4. Better for the environment but just don’t feel the same.

2010 Ford Escape review
Reviewed in 2025. I bought this 2010 in 2013 and mileage is now almost 250k with only a few wear and tear issues AFTER 200k miles! (starter, master cylinder and TPMS sensors, all lasted much longer than they are predicted to last). I read several issues about acceleration, but this is a limited therefor it has a V6 and I never have issues with acceleration (0-60 in a little over 7 seconds). The backup camera is in the mirror which is small but I like that hidden feature... I also like the proximity sensor beeping. This SUV has been great for commuting or long trips, always reliable and fun to drive.

2007 Pontiac G6 review
(owner of three 06/07 g6 GT/GTPs convertibles) Wonderful, sporty look. Design is great with minimal flaws such as cover that opens when top comes down malfunctioning or air vents coming out. Seats look great but sit in this car longer then two hours you'll wish you weren't. Every car I've seen has a rip in driver seat, you'll know what I mean if you own one most likely. Engine and transmission are strong and reliable with little maintenance needed. Things like CV joints, ball joints, sway bars, etc you'll need to replace often along with many electrical details and oil/tranny leaks. All around amazing, going on five years with my first one from 132k miles to 203k miles it runs just as it did the day I bought it.

Lots to like about the Escape: Decent gas mileage, performance and looks. Very reliable. Downsides: terrible traction in the snow, poor performance. I would recommend this vehicle if you're looking basic transportation.

2011 Ford Fiesta review
Back in 2010, my father traded his 2009 Hemi Orange R/T challenger in on a brand new 2011 Yellow Blaze Fiesta 5 door hatch with every option on it except for the automatic transmission. Sunroof, leather seats, upgraded sound system, you name it. It was truly one of a kind and to this day I’ve still never seen one like it. I’ve seen a few other yellow blazes but never one with the options ours had. In 2017, he gave it to me as my first car. It had 50,000 miles at the time. I learned how to drive stick on it! The car isn’t the fastest thing in the world, but it sure is a blast to drive. They handle wonderfully. I quickly fell in love with this car and called her the Highlighter. My dad helped me install Rockford fosgate speakers in her, a 12” Rockford fosgate punch p3 subwoofer and a kicker 800w amp. She bumped! I loved her even more after this. I had countless first dates in her until I met the woman I thought I was going to marry and was with her for two short years before that fell apart. I drove her hard, very hard. My foot was on the floor practically everywhere I went, sliding her around any and every corner. She took it all. I did this for 80,000 more miles. She reached 130,000 miles and needed a timing belt change, so we decided we would do that ourselves. Mind you, this car never needed work, it never failed to start on me, never threw codes, always got me where I needed to go safe and sound and I never worried about it not starting. So doing this timing belt change was honestly some of the first work we had to do to this car other than brakes, oil changes, and a serpentine belt at 80,000 miles. In the process of us locking the flywheel, the special tool to do so broke and made its way inside the transmission somewhere. We couldn’t get it out; but we were able to get her back together running just fine once again. However, while under the car trying to get that part out, we noticed something. On the manual transmission fiestas, there tends to be a problem with a transmission oil leak when your clutch starts to go out. This was a stock clutch with 130,000 miles on it, driven by me, a teenager at the time. There’s no way it should’ve made it as long as it did with the abuse it took, but it did. It’s almost $3,000 to have a new clutch installed in one of these cars, which essentially totals the car out. I had to make the decision to either keep the fiesta and dump its value into it to fix it when it was already up there in miles, or trade it in on an ecoboost mustang. I decided to trade her because ford wouldn’t be able to fix her for a couple of months and I was moving for college so I needed a car. I stand by my word, that fiesta will forever be the most reliable car I will have ever owned. It took so much more than any other car should’ve or would’ve. Truly one of the best cars in the world in my eyes. The mpg is just a plus on top of the reliability of these things. I’ll forever miss my fiesta, I had such a sentimental attachment to this car that I don’t think anyone will ever understand. But I hope the right person is reading this and if you’re debating getting one, get it. You wont regret it. I miss mine more and more everyday. That ecoboost mustang is cool and all, but it’ll never be my fiesta. My fiesta made so many memories with me from whether it was being the clown car trying to cram all my friends into her even though her carry capacity is 800lbs, or from those first dates previously mentioned. She was known around town because I was involved in the car scene and took her everywhere. I was proud of my fiesta. You would be too. I really hope I see mine out there on day again. I had a big issue with my Buick enclave transmission, it is obviously a manufacturer issue, my car stayed for long while till the issue diagnosed and repaired, and I had to take it back again. I can?t deny that everyone in the dealership?s service department including service manager and my advisor did their best to make me happy, and actually I am! I got my car back finally and hope that the issue is solved forever and nothing else comes up, I am testing i for few days now. So thank you Serra Buick GMC Rochester.
2008 Chevrolet Impala review
I inherited this car when it had 118,000 miles on it. It now has 348,500 miles and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. While I have replaced several parts, nothing was out of the ordinary and all due to normal wear and tear. Otherwise, I have kept up routine maintenance which is key no matter what you drive if you want a car to last. The only gripe I have is the blind spot. Since there is no warning light regarding cars at your side, I always look in the side mirror and turn my head to make sure no one is in the lane next to me before I switch. Low and behold, I still somehow miss seeing a car on occasion and have had a few close calls but thankfully no accidents.

2012 Chevrolet Malibu review
Bought this car new in 2012. Just quit driving it with 373400 miles. Only replaced the water pump. Transmission was never touched, fuel pump, alternator, heat, ac still work and original. Maybe I was extremely lucky but this car was awesome.
