2005 Audi A6 review
My wife and I bought this car new in 2005. We both retired a decade ago so it's had very few miles put on it since. It has been well cared for and well maintained, zero accidents and always garaged. We really love this car but we just bought a new one and we don't need two. With only 82k miles, this car will continue to run for someone else as well as it has for us.

2005 Audi A6 review
My first Audi. Smooth and solid. Comfortable, luxurious, and moves pretty quickly. It's roomy, and has a huge trunk hidden inside. Headlights can be expensive if assembly is broken. I had one fail. Still, other repairs are not as pricey as you may think. I find it's worth strangely expensive fixes, because the value and overall quality is still there. I mean, I had to repair a headlight assembly (AFS aiming headlights), and a fuel pump. New rotors and pads. 3 years of ownership. Keep oil changed on these! Sludge can kill these (timing chain tensioners). Just test drive one.. It will sell itself. I bought two more A6's after this one. I love them.

2005 Audi A6 review
I find this car a joy to drive 14 yrs old and still looks very good (classy) 6 speed box manual and 4 X 4 I have driven the car for 5 years maintenance could be expensive but I buy my spares from the Czech Republic much cheaper than Britain. MPG around 34.

2005 Audi A6 review
So I was looking for my first car and owning German cars runs in my family and I can say that I prefer C6 generation over the competitors of W211 and E60 generation mainly because it has best of both worlds, comfortable but also manages to have a sporty feeling which is why I couldn't stand E class Mercedes(too soft). Albeit BMW 5 Series has better responsiveness and performance it struggles with the car's feeling(heavy bodyroll) making the car feel less confidence inspiring on heavy turns unlike A6. Fit and finish is superior and feels like it was constructed by someone who really loves the car. MMI sadly feels outdated and this year's Audi also has its electronic gremlins. Seats are Audi's weakness so don't expect comfy and plushy seats like those from Mercedes and Volvo. I've replaced them with Sports seats from S6 and they seem far more comfortable, more magnificent, firmer. My main strife is that it feels underpowered despite it having impressive torque so if you're getting this car I suggest you do an ECU tune, it will make your car feel somewhat more lively. People like to mention it understeers horribily but if you mount good tires, control PSI rate and install a rear sway bar it will have its sportier handling unlocked which I found lacking when I first bought it inspite of Audi's mantra being "luxury and sport" if anything there's more luxury elements than sporty elements but if you tune A6 properly it will suit your needs.
