Purchased the car as a CPO 2 years ago, my first non-manual transmission car in over 40 years. All things being equal, I still prefer manual transmission, though the paddle shift DSG in this car is really great. Overall the car is a great design with very good performance.

This a fun little car. It is luxurious and sporty at the same time. It's on the smaller side so feels light and low to the ground. It does ride a bit harsh even on the comfort setting, but it's also what makes it feel very sporty. The seats are very supportive as is typical with Audi S models. Having come from the larger displacement supercharged Audi engines, the 2.0 in the S3 does feel a little more sluggish when in Drive (instead of Sport), however pop it into Sport mode and it has plenty of acceleration and power. Overall, this is a great car and is fun to drive.

Test drove this car while looking to buy a new car. It had a great luxurious feel to it when you walk in, and it came with a decent power boost. Quattro felt amazing when speeding up, passing cars and around corners. Never felt that i might loose control, even at high speed. Having the navigation/media display in the control unit (with the added technology package) is i think a must and a wonderful feature to have. Also, even though this is an automatic, i had a great response time when stepping on the gas and power on the road. If this car came in a manual, I would have purchased this car. But unfortunately in the USA this only comes with automatic.

I've owned and driven all kinds of cars, mainly sports cars and as far as im concerned the S3 has them all beat. The handling is extremely responsive as well as the turbo motor under the hood. I own a 2016 and just hit 71000 miles, beyond Audi Scheduled maintenance the ONLY visit to the service dept was for a faulty tire pressure sensor which only happened because i was driving the car extremely hard when it failed. I drove the s4 and s5 and neither of them come close if you want an engaging drive. The shifts are instant where every other s model Audi lags behind with non dual clutch automatics. Stop thinking about it and just buy it. You wont be disappointed.
