The perfect car for our needs: a small SUV with relatively high (4400 lbs) towing capacity. Only the BMW X3 has the same combination. The Q5 is well appointed with high quality materials. It feels very solid on the road, with adjustable driving modes (dynamic, comfort, etc.). It has surprising power for a 4-cylinder engine and surprisingly good fuel economy. We purchased this vehicle used with some remaining factory warranty, which we haven't yet needed--all systems are working perfectly.

Temecula Valley Lexus Service turned what could’ve been a vacation-ruining nightmare into a master-class in customer care. While road-tripping from Phoenix, the serpentine belt on my LX570 shredded, wrapped itself around the fan clutch, and mangled the front of the engine bay. Google Maps showed another Lexus dealer closer, yet Temecula Valley Lexus’ spotless looking facility (Google maps pics) and stellar ratings convinced me to gamble on the longer tow—and I’m grateful I did. Even though I rolled up in a rented Chevy work truck, the service team welcomed me like I’d just driven onto their service drive floor with my lexus. Service Consultant Adam Caughron listened patiently to my whole “out-of-state, vacation-clock-is-ticking” tale and, despite a no appointments available schedule for days, promised to make my LX a priority. By the next morning he’d already called with a clear diagnosis and confirmed parts on order. The next couple evenings, Adam and the technician (an unsung hero I wish I’d caught by name) stayed past 10:30 p.m., both wrenching side-by-side to get me back on the road. The following day I picked up a perfectly repaired LX, checked out of my rental vehicle, and headed home on schedule. Adam even gave me his personal number and asked me to text when I arrived safely—service that goes far beyond the job description. Temecula Valley Lexus knows I’m unlikely to become a regular customer from hundreds of miles away in another state, yet they treated me as if I were family. Clean facility, transparent communication, and genuine empathy: this team embodies what a dealership service department should be. Well built vehicle drives well and is very comfortable. I would recommend this car to anyone that is looking for style and comfort in a car.

This was my first expericene shopping for cars and I was a little nervous, the sales people at Auto City made me feel welcome and did not overwhelm me with sales pitches. Frank was kind and helpful and I appriecated that. I did not purchase a car that day but because of the treatment I recieved will be going back there in the near future.

I purchased car November 2019. Took car in 1 month after buying for electronic issues. They fixed the problem and was fine. Now has another electronic problem. Will be taking it in for a third time to fix it They have not been able to correct it thus far.....other than that I love the car.

My recent service experience with BMW of Carlsbad in addition to my previous service experiences have been very positive. The service advisor was professional and explained everything clearly to me. There were no hidden charges or surprises and the service I received was top notch.

I can’t tell you how much I love this car. Drives like a dream compared to my Cadillac Escalade. Handles well with plenty of acceleration. Nice clean designed exterior and well appointed interior. Only flaw are the drink holders and the lack of remote start since it is German.

I'm not sure if I'll purchase the Lexus LC 500 they helped me with, but I had one of the best experiences with any sales rep I've ever had with Anthony Picozzi. He was one of the most down to earth, honest, and helpful people I've ever encountered in this industry. The other two sales reps there (didn't catch their names) were awesome, as well. I never write reviews, but thought it was important enough that he gets the recognition he deserves!

I really like it. I have the Prestige package. Some disappointments however. When turning from a slow speed or stop there is often a lag or bucking. So I need to be careful especially when pulling into traffic. It is annoying for 85k vehicle. Also had it with my 2018. Figured it would be fixed by now. Common Audi issue I have read. Limited interior storage space. Voice navigation command is iffy so I use Waze. MPG is less than my 18 model. Same 3.0. It gets better in Dynamic mode. Otherwise I love driving it. Style is nice and gets a lot of comments. Interior comfort is fine with a nice sense of control. I think I would buy another one but not if they don't fix the lag. I feel it could be a safety negative. Electronics are abundant. Takes some time to get used to them all. Probably I don't even use them all. I pull out manual off and on and still discovering things after a year. Overall though I really enjoy driving it.

Q5 is a very comfortable & great performance vehicle. The Prestige model has options that other manufacturers only wish for & gets great gas mileage street & highway .

Very smooth comfortable ride. I have a Q5 2018 and so far no problem. Never thought I will get used to driving a SUV since my last car was an A6 which I kept for 13 years.

What an amazing experience! I had the pleasure to have John Khalil as my sales agent, who happens to not only be a welcoming and zealous sales agent at CarMax of Oceanside, CA, but also a very talented painting artist!! He had great compassion for my autistic son and made sure he was always comfortable during the efficient waiting process by offering him a cute CarMax car toy, a CarMax coloring book and crayons. He went above and beyond when complex situations came about during the bank’s verification process. The determination he had to push my situation through with his persistent diligence as I watched him communicate with high professionalism and positivity as a team with his colleagues/finance management team was remarkable!!!! Bought mine in 2025 with rather low miles on it (offerred by dealership as a CPO with 18 months left). It feels luxurious inside and is pretty quiet. I'd say it was really beautiful but the way the infotainment screed is situated on the dash it sorta looks like it was just stuck there. Still, it works really well and supports CarPlay which works seemlessly. I didn't buy this car to watch movies lol. Back seats are comfy but there is a raised floor channel which seems odd; you definitely would't put a fifth adult in the middle. Still, the rear seat pass-through is cool and accomodates my skis. With read seats flipped down the total cargo space is acceptable but by no means best in class. I'm no speed demon so the 2.0 turbo is plenty for me considering the weight of the car. It handles well but it's not an Ultimate Driving Machine experience. . Mostly I'm impressed with ride quality and interior cabin sound level. The stock stereo is so-so and I tried the upgraded B&O system and it wasn't remarkable either. I am impressed with highway fuel economy near 35mpg. I did not purchase addtl maintenace and strongly recommend you change fluids waaay more often than mfr's specifications.

The service advisors are very knowledgeable and conscious. I continue to drive to Escondido vs the Carlsbad service.

This is the quietest interior at 70 MPH that I have ever known. It is also very powerful and a joy to drive It handles like a sports car staying flat in turns at high speed and going exactly where you point it like it's glued to the road with no tire sequel . It's an amazing car and after owning more that 65 cars over the years this is by far the best.

Brian was knowledge and made time from his other responsibilities to work with us. The car we called about was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. This was our first (and likely not last) CarMax experience.

Traded in my Tahoe for this and have loved every minute driving this car! I have one in a car seat, and still have plenty of room. Such a smooth drive. I test drove so many cars and this by far beat them all. You get so much for the money, plus great safety ratings!

A drivers car... power to weight ratio is great with a smooth power curve during acceleration. The sport seat option with ventilated seats are firm and comfortable and interior features are rich and functional; everything is where we want it to be which enhances the driving experience. The sales process at North Scottsdale Audi was the best ever experienced with professional sales rep, finance, service and even a technical rep who came to our home to answer our questions about the Q5... Wow! We've now broken in the vehicle with in town driving and a road trip and the more we drive the Q5 the more we like it.

Tony and the staff in the Service Dept are very pleasant to work with. They are courteous and professional. They make the service process very simple and easy from getting the loaner to having the car washed before pick up! Great job! Thanks!

I have been a Honda owner since 1981. I've owned them all. When it came time for a new one I looked at what was being offered but nothing satisfied me. I liked the looks and apparent utility of the Golf Sportwagen. One test drive and I was hooked. But really it was the staff at Cook VW that really made the switch so easy. Annie, Steve, Allison and all the the staff were just great people to work with. 100% professionals. No pressure. No surprises at contract time. Fair trade in value. No haggling. They knew what I was looking for and they got it for me at a great price. I bought my q5 brand new. So far so good, no issues and I've got 45000 kms on it. Unfortunately it had to go in for a few recalls but it's cleared and mine passes. I'm still iffy about those recalls, the piston rod worries me the most. Aside from my worries, very attractive vehicle. I got the beige interior and it looks more special that way. The performance is more than enough for an suv that size. I had to get new tires this year, so I was surprised at how fast this SUV chews away at tires. You do have to rotate the tires every year or they just wear out differently. I'm happy I got it in 2022 because the 2025 being $20 grand more is pushing it for the spec I have. So far its been nothing but oil changes. I don't have any issues yet and I don't expect any. Oh and this vehicle in the snow is superb!!! You'll never get stuck that's for sure. As for breaking, if you have good tires it's good.

Excellent vehicle overall. It’s quiet, very good ride and handling with technology galore. The seats are very comfortable and especially with the heated massage option and ventilated for warm weather driving. The climate control system is top notch as is the standard B&O sound system which sounds every bit as good as the top line B&O in our A8L. The interior is spacious but storage is limited so gives you a good reason to de clutter! The third seat is not important to us and goes unused but I sure wouldn’t want to try to sit back there! There is plenty of power with the hybrid 6 and the laser matrix design headlights are nothing short of spectacular! The night vision system is especially useful for remote locations for deer, animals, etc. and in urban driving for pedestrians, cyclists, dogs et al. Some niggles include a weird shift pattern, way too many nanny warnings, a confusing setup for different drivers to store their individual preferences and not be able to do things like leave the vehicle running to get out to do something as simple as run back in the house for something you forgot. All in all, a luxurious SUV with great overall performance yet very economical to operate as gas mileage is good and routine maintenance is minimal. We love our Audi’s and the Q7 is a great addition to our garage.
