Have had 5 3 series`, and I wont drive anything else, starting with a `78 323. Love the whole layout, including the battery...surprising power for a 4 cylinder. My last was an inline 6, and this is far quicker. I`m 6 ft tall, and the back seat is , well, a back seat. You have as much legroom as the front seaters allow, but even with the front seats pulled a few inches forward, there is still ample room in front (and back). Only drawback? The shift into second can be a little abrupt, that`s about it. Thx.

BEST CAR EVER, I BOUGTH IT ON 2018 WITH 44000 MILES. STILL RUNNING PERFECT WITH 180000 MILES. GREAT POWER ON COMFORT DRIVE. ON ECO DRIVE YOU LOSE A LOT OF POWER BUT YOU SAVE GAS. IT HAS A GREAT STABILITY ON HIGHWAY. THE MUSIC SOUND SYSTEM IS POWERFUL!!

I approached buying my Miata with usual fear and trepidation... price was a concern... I didn't want to part with my 2001, yet thought it was time. Lori was very patient and relaxed. At one point I decided not to buy and she, without argument, placed it back on inventory. Also, at other points I'd dealt with Mark and Luke, co-workers with Lori--all cooperated with each other in a very professional and friendly spirit. I had two issues under 30 day warrantee--I was given a loaner car and was called in 1/2 day that car was ready! Location is a problem, gps a necessity for someone new to Dallas. I can now find it after 8 or so visits, but laugh when I finally do get there each time. I'll probably return for service, as I have a warrantee contract, though it allows me to go elsewhere. I feel I have some real and honest friends there, a good experience.

I bought a year old BMW. The price was better than I found at other dealerships. They were prepared to go as slow as I wanted and answer all my questions, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted fast! So after a quick test drive went in and signed the paperwork, while they washed it for me. They let me leave my old car there and drive my new car home. There was a headlight malfunction and they said it was completely covered under warranty. However, because it was a software issue, Carmax said I needed to take it to BMW, but that Carmax would cover any costs. They were true to their word!

2001 328ci (coupe) MT Purchased 5 years ago at 80k DAILY DRIVEN up to its current 165k. Purchased the vehicle back when i was a toyota tech. After a couple years moved over to bmw and became thrilled to work on examples of my car with 230+k miles. I decided i was going to baby it and stick to maintenance schedules and see if i can hit 300k. This car has been VERY good to me. Everything on these cars has been well documented. Parts are available and doing a majority of the repairs can be done by any young ambitious person with some decent tools. Youll end up replacing alot of cooling parts over the years. But it can all be done very easily!( for example ive changed out an expansion tank and radiator witha couple sockets and a ratchet in probably 20 minutes. Aside from the cooling pieces you may need to swap its just been oil changes and tire rotations. Interior trumps many more modern cars by a long shot. I remember working on the newer bmws thinkin that the interiors werent even close to how well the e46 coupe interior was. The newer ones were functional and the e46s were sexy. To be blunt. Electrical has been solid and quirk free. No leaks ticks knocks smoke or complaints from the engine. Never a single misfire or stutter in our 5 years together. I truly respect this inline 6 engine( m52tub28 specifically) The engine is silent, absolutely vibration free. very stout and responsive. More than enough to get thru traffic on demand. Car handling is something youd have to experience. Its precise predictable and confident. Car excels on tight twisty roads. And rides as calm as the breeze on the freeway. 95mph feels as calm as 65mph. In summary Pros: Reliable -Easy repairs. Affordable if you shop around -Solid interior/ exterior design. Sexy.functional. -quiet, calm and quick. Stealthy i dare say. -responsive engine and handling - mostly oil changes abd tire rotations - tons of aftermarket support. -daily driver hot weather or cold Cons: Can be poorly maintained by previous owners DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND YOULL FIND A GEM. THEYRE OUT THERE. cooling system ( primarily expansion tank and radiator) can be problematic. Easy to replace. Done it roadside before. Not as expensive as youd think. bushings: long story short is there alot of them and when they go bad the ride feels a little more sloppy. Subframe mouting locations. Can tear or crack if abused. (Especially by previous owners) Can be felt as a 'clunk upon certain braking/acceleration situations. LOOK BEFORE YOU BUY I think ill keep this one. Might pull her off daily driver status this year and keep it as a weekend cruiser or date car. Still looks new and stands out from todays tasteless econoboxes. Im certain this car could go on another 10 years as a daily. She never complains and never hesitates. Dont let anyone tell you a bmw is hard to own. Do your research Buy the right one. Maintain it And you wont be dissatisfied

I always love BMWs. This is my favorite and most reliable. It's a 2012 with 90k miles and is experiencing only "older car" issues. Love the ease of the top and the size is perfect for me. Warning: be careful of servicing at dealerships. My top was stuck up. Dealership told me $3500 to fix. My regular mechanic told me it was only a little plastic piece and replaced for $0. Dealership: Fermin BMW in Palm Harbor, FL. Avoid them.

Rides so perfect 🥰....93k miles but still runs like brand new. Never any issues only oil changes. Wipers And brakes for $200 only. Better than any luxury car..trouble free Very good in gas..don't take it to German Mechanics..American Mechanics are best and cheapest service .

My 2011 328i has just reached 223k miles. No timing chain replacement. Only oil changes and coolant flushes. Obviously break pads and rotors. It’s been amazing. Fun to drive although I get 22mpg average. As Long as you don’t touch it and don’t drive it like you stole it, you can count on it.

Bought my 328 used at 52k and currently sitting at 95 and the car has not had one hiccup. It is a blast to drive on backroads but can easily handle long road trips. Great fuel economy despite having a lead foot. Absolutely love my 328

I bought this car used back in 2016 with around 27,000 miles for under 20 grand. Overall as most people might warn you the costs of owning a bmw is no where near cheap. As this is not your average run of the mill camry or accord. Personally, I have not had too many issues concerning reliability. Tires and brakes are expensive ranging anywhere from $1200 for a set of tires to around $800 for brakes all around. You could cheap out on those things but I would highly recommend not to. The interior is very comfortable but not good for taller folks. I would recommend getting the technology package as it comes with a bigger infotainment screen. The car's exterior has held up to the test of time, it still looks modern considering it is now 7 years old. But once again repair costs come up again. After a few door dings and rock chips on the paint, I wanted to get the paint touched up at my local BMW dealership. They quoted me for over $1500. I ended up going to a secondary body shop and paid half that. However those prices are insane for what you will pay for this car used. I do not recommend buying this car used especially with high mileage. As you will find that the costs to maintain and repair will begin to surpass what you paid for it. In terms of performance this car does not lack. My 328i came with a 4 cylinder turbo. It gets up and going surprisingly quickly if you are in the right gear. The 0-60 on this car I have personally measured at 5.6 seconds. Obviously weather conditions and different altitude will differ your performance. In terms of gas mileage throughout owning it, I can report that it is as advertised. I get around 30 mpg on a good week of mostly highway cruising. On a bad week of city driving it could range from 24-27. If you are looking to buy this car make sure you keep up with maintenance or find a car with a good maintenance history.
