Minneapolis: 3AM: Awake, Can’t sleep. Doom scrolling nationwide for a new Mercedes, and after being dismissed by my local Mercedes dealers, I found the car I wanted at Sisson Mercedes in Washington, Pennsylvania. Filled out the “I’m Interested” tab, not expecting to hear anything back, and a few hours later…It was 3AM after all…I got an e-mail from Kristin Presutti at Sisson Mercedes about the car I was interested in…Being we are both Italian, She made me an offer I couldn’t refuse and I now await my new Mercedes to arrive in Minneapolis from the suburbs of Pittsburgh. It’s now days later and I have yet to hear from my local Mercedes dealers…I have been buying cars since 1979 and Kristin is truly the best salesperson I have ever dealt with. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Simply outstanding.

That experience proved to be quite frustrating. My salesman Courtney and I believe the sales manager Aaron went the extra mile to really make sure I was satisfied and happy. Like the title implies, doing one of the things Mercedes does best. I absolutely love the cars but the customer service is what seals the deal! There are very few companies left that treat customers this way. Mercedes will always have my business as long as they maintain this. Courtney, Aaron, Rosa, and everyone else involved (except the 3RD PARTY shippers) maintained my high regards for them.

It was time to trade-in my 2012 Jeep. Mercedes of Delray had a lot of different cars to choose from and we had our eye on a Lexus. After meeting Paco, and 4 hours of test driving cars and trying to find the right car for us, we settled on the Mercedes GLA 250. We got a great price for our trade-in and a great price for the car. Overall experience was quite good. I had in mind when I went to the dealership what I might want which was an E-class EV or plug-in hybrid, especially after seeing a review of the car on PBS's Motor Week show. In late December I dropped by the dealership, And I was greeted promptly by Marc Castillo who was quite helpful finding a PHEV on the lot when it initially appeared there might not be one available to drive. While I was disappointed that there was just one plug-in hybrid on the lot and not my preferred color or options. I liked the car except for that, and Marc followed up promptly. On a follow-up visit in late January, Helen Bozkurt took over the sales process quite seamlessly. After that visit, she followed up quickly and was very accommodative to scheduling the next visit to work on making a potential deal. She was able to help me make the deal/price I wanted. The rest of the sales process went well, including the sales finalization and financing paperwork done very efficiently by Stuart. Helen provided excellent post-sale follow-up. I still need some help on the inefficient headlight dimmers and setting the charging times at home, as it does not seem to work per the instructions in the car operating manual as described on page 340.
