So far, which admittedly is only a month and 800 miles, but so far, loving it. Traded in a Cadillac V Series (The true "V" series and prior to the Blackwing V Series) and I find the M4 Competition to offer a slightly more comfortable ride in the softest setting versus the Cadillac and roughly the same handling capabilities in the "sport" settings. Still getting used to BMW's steering though. Just something different with it and maybe once I get used to I'll trust the M4 even more than the Caddy?

For me, shopping for a car is challenging. I've had so many bad experiences with "used car salesman" that I find it difficult to believe or trust anything they say. (beware of Genesis of Mesquite) However, Eunise Medina, Patrick Cahill, Ryan, a BMW Genius, and the staff at BMW of Mckinney, sure made this BMW purchase was a great experience. EVERYBODY was so pleasant, courteous and helpful from the start. They went out of their way to answer questions, showed me printed reports, addressed any concern... I was in their very nice snack area looking for a drink and I muttered out loud, "where's a Coke" and a gent walking by overheard me and said he'd run upstairs to get me one. He was up the stairs and back in seconds with a Coke. I was astounded! The people alone were just great, and the way I was treated so special, it made buying a BMW from this dealership a no brainer. Dan Langley puts the experience in Experience Manager. Enjoyed my Lexus for a long time and when it came for something new I immediately fell in love with a Porsche listed at Towbin. I put in a request for info online and was contacted quickly via text by Dan (appreciated text via the random call that always happens while you’re busy.) After learning this would be my first performance sports car purchase, he made it clear he was willing to be a resource for me - even if I didn’t end up buying from him. Very kind but also brilliant long-game move. ;) Dan had the car ready and waiting when I got there and was patient through my looooong test drive and all the questions I had. This was a big purchase for me and I’ll admit I am pretty critical and a bit distrustful of car sales people so I’m probably not the easiest customer. Dan didn’t take anything personally and, dare I say, was perhaps even empathetic. The lack of a DME (rev) report was a big sticking point for me since over revs on a manual Porsche can equal trouble down the road. Knowing this report can only be completed with special equipment, Dan took it down to Trophy Performance, a trusted Porsche specialist, and had the report completed for me the next day which I really appreciated. This car was probably the most inexpensive one on the lot but I never felt rushed; Dan was patient, professional and willing to share his knowledge and experience with me from start to finish, even helping me get my bluetooth synced up after the purchase was made and helping with aftermarket questions. He also kindly gifted me a nice Ferrari book before I drove off (I had shared how much of a sports car aficionado my dad is) and put my 16 year old step daughter and I behind the wheel of some pretty fancy cars just for fun as we waited to wrap up the sale. I came in with my own financing, but Troy helped us wrap up paperwork and was very personable as well, chatting through the tediousness that can come with all those final signatures. All in all- what I’m saying here is - just ask for Dan. He’s great at what he does but also seems like decent human being which does count for something when you’re making a big purchase.

They were very easy to work with but I didn’t see the flaws in the paint in the photos online. However I love the car even though it is a bit beat up. It is a 2014 after all.
