Professional Package is a MUST! Makes a huge difference! Night and day! Tight, Fast and none of the Marshmallow of artificial suspension feel and under/over steer using power assisted steering- Suspension is very clean and responsive! This car is very fast off the line and at the mid power band- 80 MPH to 129 MPH in an absolute goose-bump producing blink of an eye. My 11th BMW l( Last was the 650ix) and my very first " M" - I love this body style- not the "everyday" sedan- Matte Painted - Frosted Metallic White....Was holding out for the new 8 series.... where the 6 coupe will likely resurrect... If Mercedes offers the new S-coupe, or even more exotic version of that like the new s coupe Maybach which enters the market that only Bentley and Rolls-Royce use to dictate, Audi give us the new R8, there is always the Porsche and if 6 series is the best BMW can do in coupes, it's not gonna end well for BMW. Not saying that 6 series is not a good car, just in the opposite its awesome, but its just not gonna be good enough to compare with the Mercedes' version, so that's why BMW is taking it off the shelf and replace it with the new 8 series. This might be both bad news and good news for those who is planning to get one soon, expect for the fact that it's the last generation so the value of the car will remain pretty much the same, if you can keep it in a really good condition, it's gonna bring you a fortune in the near future, but also the size of the car and the performance are actually just in the sweetest spot, it's super elegant and sporty looking but not to a point that it looks like a car that people would drive it in the fast and furious movie, it's more like a car that people would drive it in a bond film, like a guy with good shaped body, but instead of wearing a tank top to show if off, he chose to wear a suit. The exhaust sounds beautiful but only when you want it to be, it's not gonna go crazy in the 2000 rpm, but once it hit 3000, it's like that like guy with super fit body rips of his shirt after he took of his suit. Interior and the technology are also wonderful, easy to use and once you get use to it, it becomes so handy that you can operate it in your dream. The only disadvantages of this car might be the truck space, but you are not going to be driving this car to Costco every sunday afternoon, so you will be fine.

I went from an exotic to the BMW M6 and haven't regretted my decision. Being over 6 foot tall the M6 has plenty of cabin space which make the ride enjoyable. While not the quickest car off the line it does have plenty of power under the hood to make you presence known. The M6 gets attention so be prepared to have people drooling over it at stop lights....

I you want a truly great car with a lot of guts the M6 is the one to buy, The 5 hundred 60 Hp motor will throw you into the back seat if you let it, but the styling along with the engine is the thing that will keep your attention. the comfortable interior and the exterior style lets you know you have the best car on the road.

I really enjoy driving my 2008 M-6 coupe. Especially on the back mountain roads of Western NC. Zero- to-speed limit (well maybe a little more) is fun but gets old in Fl city traffic. Frankly, I liked driving my 91 M5 more but I think that is because when I reach my sanity limit with this one, it seems to say "Is that all? I have SO MUCH more." With my M5 it was..."well you came pretty close to maxing me out on that one." My M-6 has the 6spd manual. Takes a lot of practice to get a good start and then get into the next gear smoothly but..... Mileage....don't ask. Repairs.....thus far, two years in, nothing other than oil changes and brake flushes. Still figuring out all the gizmos but sometimes I just don't care. The three pedals in front quickly draw my attention away from IT "stuff"

This may be the best all around car I've ever owned. Performance, looks, comfortable, design, looks, reliability it's all there. I will miss this car.

Just pick one up used from San Diego and drove 120 miles home, enjoyed every mile of the journey. I was trying to find a 6 speed manual with a physical clutch to no avail. yes the smg transmission takes a little bit to get used to but it is a driver's car and it's very involving. The roar, the quickness, the road feel, totally a Ultimate Driving Machine. The SMG is not completely "manual" but not an automatic either, it doesn't even have "P". You want to park and want the engine to hold the car, put it in 1st or R before you turn off the engine.

I exchanged a few messages with the dealer about a truck I was looking at. They were prompt and courteous. I did not go to the dealership as the truck did not match my needs.
