When I say this was this best experience I have ever had, and it was Ayesha that made it just that!! We had been at a few places and (of course with my credit not so perfect) they kept giving us the run around after making us wait hours just to try to get more money. Although my attitude was just over it and I apologized to her after she still was straight forward, didn’t match my energy and gave me an opportunity to get in a car. It is a really nice car and has saved me quite a bit of gas money. I bought one for my wife as well. It also came with a tax credit.

I have been driving BMWs for about ten yrs. This is my first SUV . I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. this is also my first hybrid and am very happy with my mileage.

2018 BMW X5 eDrive review
40e doesn't cost that much more than the 6 cylinder and I am averaging 45mpg. Nice federal tax rebate and I get 800 miles on a tank of gas. Plus parking spots reserved for charging are generally primo and available. This car is the same 0-60 as the 6cyl, but smoother and quicker off the line. I just use a standard outlet in my garage, so a full charge takes 7 hours over night. Public charging spots are 3 times as fast. I take the car on road trips without charging and it operates like a normal X5. No downside to getting the hybrid that I can tell.

2018 BMW X5 eDrive review
I commute through Boston round trip to New Hampshire and this car has helped keep me safe and comfortable with some of the most daredevil drivers on the road. The visibility is excellent and the emergency braking has saved me when abrupt lane changers dive in front of a line of cars going 70 in the tunnel. The car is fun, with a lot of gimmicks and convenience features. It takes a while to learn how to use all these, but that keeps things interesting. Local driving is cost-free with the E-drive too.
