The dealer stuff were very professional, friendly and cooperative. They were willing to deal with me over the internet and by phone and they were quick to respond. They also were very reasonable with the value of my trade in vehicle. I drove 4 hours from Pennsylvania to Connecticut to meet in person and close the deal. I was out and driving on my new purchase within 2 hours or less. I would recommend a friend to buy there!

Only have been driving the car for a week, but it is clearly the best SUV I have experienced. My wife drives the Mercedes 300 - a fine car as well, but I have always preferred BMY engine performance and handling. The X3 is simply a pleasure to drive.

I've had the 2025 X3 30 now for 5 months and it is great! It replaces our 2022 X3 that was recently totaled and both passenger walked away with just bruises so it is a safe car! This is one reason I purchased another X3. Big difference on the interior panel than the 2022 as everything has gone to touch screen for all controls which I not real fond about, even the owners manual is on the touchscreen software, The twin turbo gives plenty of power and the gas milage has improved from the older model. The gears change smoothly and the ride is also smooth. You now get a spare tire since BMW did away with the run flat tires which I hated as they did not wear great. The accessories offered in their package covers everything you want in an auto. I don't understand why the rear exhaust are hidden though as I like the chrome exhaust on my old 2022. This year the 3 was redesigned and it is slightly bigger.

Service at the BMW dealership of North Haven always run smoothly. Provided with a car if service is lengthy. The service staff is courteous and friendly.

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! My only feedback, as someone who frequently purchases high-end vehicles (Range Rover, Aston Martin, Acura, etc.), is that the dealership can get very busy and you can tell the staff was overwhelm, I think some technology could help them because people would get lost in the waiting room like we did :). This is understandable, especially on a weekend and the last day of the month—partly my timing. Overall, I look forward to building a long-term relationship with this amazing team. After almost 10 years, I’m thrilled to have a BMW back in my garage. Highly recommended!

Victor was super nice and professional and patient. Knew much about the vehicle and its history and had maintenance documents ready to give me along with carfax. He also have the vehicle washed before my visit. He was very prepared. I did not buy on that day but I’m hoping to return should they agree to be flexible on their pricing. Seems like a well run dealership.

I have this car for 26,000 miles now. This is the best X5 that I have ever owned. The new engine is great on the xdrive 40i. No need for the M60. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. Handling is great. Tires and much better than on the previous generation. The ride is tight and comfortable. They did an awesome job. Hopefully, this car will last as long as my previous 2010 X5.

Lou was my salesperson and he was super communicative, explaining and re-explaining when he seemed to feel it was needed. No surprises along the way, I was able to test drive the van as much or as long as I wanted, have a mechanic come by to inspect it and they washed it and added a full tank of gas on pickup day. They had done some quality servicing to the vehicle as well before pickup day. Lou mentioned early on that he wasn't paid on a commission basis, which was a good detail for me to know. In the end, all the numbers were the same from the beginning to end, no "uh oh" moments and it was a super fast experience on pickup day - probably the fastest ever for me to get the keys and drive a new (to me) vehicle home. I will look to use them again if possible in the next year or so. Highly recommend.

It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

Shout out to Brendan as well as he picked up and dropped off my car. Made the whole process easy. I almost didn’t use Hoffman service because I had such a bad sales experience. I have had three BMWs, all with great reliability and high satisfaction, but this is my first BMW SUV. After 5 weeks of ownership, my 2024 X3 is on its way to becoming my all-time favorite. The handling is great, the safety features superb, and the comfort and luxury appearance have surpassed my expectations. We are so happy with this car that my husband is talking about getting one for himself, and he is an Audi and LandRover fan. BMW, thank you for your continued dedication to quality and reliability.

I cannot believe that BMW put a 4 cylinder with turbo in an X3. It is the single problem I have with my car. otherwise it is perfect. The 6 cylinder in my 2005 was Awesome!!!!! BMW stands for Performance, GIVE IT.

Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

I have owned the original X3 and followed up with this model. The second generation is certainly a few steps above as far as comfort, style and driving performance. 2012 is the last year the 28i is powered by the 3.0L inline 6. Acceleration is great after getting the software update. Prior to it, I had the aggravating slow response met with a rush of acceleration. The software update has smoothed out the throttle greatly. The ride is super comfortable for day to day as well as trips. I have taken this car on long trips a few times this year and it is great on gas, very comfortable seats and great visibility. It is easy to park and has a tight turning circle. The handling feels like the 3 series sedan! Going up and down hills and mountainsides feels secure. Feature wise, I fully recommend the backup camera and parking sensors as well as the heated seats/steering wheel. Cargo space is adequate for this class and three average sized adults can fit in the backseat comfortably. I will say that BMW has this peculiar way of stripping the cars down in the past 10 years and labeling it as "customization." You notice the small things such as no puddle lights on my particular car, as well as having to get packages for an improved interior/exterior. Another example is if you do not get the Navigation, you do not get the nicely done, upscale graphics on the speedometer area. You have to add leather, a sunroof, heated seats, etc. My older BMW's had a lot of these more common features standard. If you buy this car used, be sure to pay attention to the features and how it was optioned. Overall, the car has been very reliable and a joy to drive!
